RESOLUTION NO. 2023-0193 (Co-Sponsors: Committee on Finance and Appropriations and Committee on Barangay Affairs) "A RESOLUTION APPROVING THE EXTENSION OF FINANCIAL SUPPORT IN THE TOTAL AMOUNT OF ONE MILLION TWO HUNDRED THOUSAND (P1,200,000.00) PESOS, UNDER THE BARANGAY SUPPORT PROGRAM FOR RURAL AND URBAN BARANGAY OF THE CITY AND, AUTHORIZING THE HONORABLE CITY MAYOR TO ENTER, FOR AND IN BEHALF OF THE CITY GOVERNMENT OF PAGADIAN, INTO CONTRACT WITH THE VARIOUS BARANGAY GOVERNMENT UNITS OF THE CITY PURPOSELY FOR THE UTILIZATION OF THE SAID FINANCIAL ASSISTANCE" WHEREAS, the Honorable City Mayor, by way of a letter-request, sought for the allocation and appropriation of the amount of P1,200,000.00 under the Barangay Support Program for Rural and Urban Barangay as financial support to various barangays of the city and to enter into a contract with the concerned barangays for the utilization of such funds; WHEREAS, after careful consideration by this august body through the concerned Committees-to which the foregoing matter was initially referred-and considering the intent of the said measure is for the best interest of the public, it is deemed most proper to approve the extension of financial support and granting authority to the Honorable City Mayor to enter into Contract with the various barangays for the proper utilization of the said fund, hence, this passage; NOW, THEREFORE, on seconded motion of Honorable Ann Marjorie N.
