RESOLUTION NO. 2023-0191 (Sponsor: Committee on Finance and Appropriations) "A RESOLUTION INFORMING THE SANGGUNIANG BARANGAYS OF DUMAGOC, MANGA AND DATAGAN THAT THEIR RESPECTIVE APPROPRIATION ORDINANCES, NAMELY: APPROPRIATION ORDINANCE NO. 02, S. 2022 (SUPPLEMENTAL BUDGET NO. 1); APPROPRIATION ORDINANCE NO. 02, S. 2022 (SUPPLEMENTAL BUDGET NO. 01); AND APPROPRIATION ORDINANCE NO. 03, S. 2022 (SUPPLEMENTAL BUDGET NO. 02); ARE DEEMED CONFIRMED AND APPROVED BY OPERATION OF LAW AND THE SAME SHALL CONTINUE TO BE IN FULL FORCE AND EFFECT" WHEREAS, the Sangguniang Barangays of Dumagoc, Manga and Datagan, all of this city, submitted their respective Appropriation Ordinances, namely: Appropriation Ordinance No. 02, s. 2022 (Supplemental Budget No. 1) last August 24, 2022; Appropriation Ordinance No. 02, s. 2022 (Supplemental Budget No. 01) last September 14, 2022; and Appropriation Ordinance No. 03, s. 2022 (Supplemental Budget No. 02) last October 19, 2022, respectively, to this august body for review and approval by this Sanggunian pursuant to Section 391 of R.A. 7160; WHEREAS, upon careful perusal and evaluation, the Committee on Finance and Appropriations-with the new Committee Chairmanship and composition-through its Committee Report No. 035, found out that the above-mentioned Barangay Budgets had remained unacted for more than sixty (60) days-the reglementary period set by the Local Government Code particularly Section 333 thereof, for the Sangguniang Panlungsod to review the same, otherwise, the same shall be deemed approved by operation of law; WHEREAS, given the foregoing circumstances, it is thus now imperative to inform the concerned barangays that their respective Supplemental Budgets were deemed confirmed and approved by operation of law, hence, shall continue to be in full force and effect; NOW, THEREFORE, on seconded motion of Honorable Ann Marjorie N. Revelo, be it RESOLVED to inform, as this body hereby informs the Sangguniang Barangays of Dumagoc, Manga and Datagan that their respective Appropriation Ordinances, namely: Appropriation Ordinance No. 02, s. 2022 (Supplemental Budget No. 1); Appropriation Ordinance No. 02, s. 2022 (Supplemental Budget No. 01); and Appropriation Ordinance No. 03, s. 2022 (Supplemental Budget No. 02), are deemed confirmed and approved by operation of law and the same shall continue to be in full force and effect. RESOLVED FURTHER, to let copies of this Resolution be transmitted to the concerned Barangays, through their respective Punong Barangay, for their information and guidance. APPROVED UNANIMOUSLY.
