RESOLUTION NO. 2023-0183 (Sponsor: Honorable Jesus B. Bajamunde, Jr.) "A RESOLUTION CONFIRMING THE ACTION OF THE SANGGUNIANG BARANGAY OF LUMBIA, AS ENUNCIATED IN ITS RESOLUTION NO. 001, SERIES OF 2023, WHICH, IN GIST, REENACTED THEIR CALENDAR YEAR 2022 ANNUAL BUDGET AS THEIR CALENDAR YEAR 2023 ANNUAL BUDGET IN THE TOTAL AMOUNT OF SIX MILLION EIGHT HUNDRED FIFTY THOUSAND (P6,850,000.00) PESOS" WHEREAS, the Sangguniang Barangay of Lumbia, by way of Resolution No. 001, series of 2023, requested the Honorable City Vice Mayor and the Sangguniang Panlungsod Members to approve and confirm the reenactment of their Calendar Year 2022 Annual Budget as their Calendar Year 2023 Annual Budget in the amount of P6,850,000.00, pending the review of their proposed Calendar Year 2023 Annual Budget by the City Budget Officer; WHEREAS, this august body, in pursuance with Section 333 of the Local Government Code of 1991 which provides that "X X X X. If within sixty (60) days after the receipt of the Annual Budget, the Sanggunian concerned takes no action thereon, the same shall continue to be in full force and effect. X X X X," and taking cognizance of the foregoing request, deems it just and proper to just confirm the action of the Sangguniang Barangay of Lumbia as enunciated in its Resolution No. 001, series of 2023; NOW, THEREFORE, on seconded motion of Honorable Jesus B. Bajamunde, Jr., be it RESOLVED to confirm, as this body hereby confirms the action of the Sangguniang Barangay of Lumbia, as enunciated in its Resolution No. 001, series of 2023, which, in gist, reenacted their Calendar Year 2022 Annual Budget as their Calendar Year 2023 Annual Budget in the total amount of Six Million Eight Hundred Fifty Thousand (P6,850,000.00) Pesos. RESOLVED FURTHER, to let copies of this Resolution be furnished the Barangay Council of Lumbia through its Punong Barangay; and to all others concerned, for their information and guidance.
