RESOLUTION NO. 2023-0179 (Sponsor: Committee on Laws, Rules and Policy Formulation) "A RESOLUTION APPROVING DRAFT ORDINANCE NO. 013 ON THIRD READING AND ORDAINING THE SAME AS CITY ORDINANCE NO. 2023-527, ENTITLED: "AN ORDINANCE INSTITUTIONALIZING THE BUY LOCAL ADVOCACY AND ENJOINING ALL CONCERNED ESTABLISHMENTS IN THE CITY OF PAGADIAN TO APPORTION A DISPLAY AREA FOR LOCALLY PRODUCED GOODS AND SERVICES AS WELL AS STRENGTHENING THE PASALUBONG CENTER IN THE CITY OF PAGADIAN"" WHEREAS, Draft Ordinance No. 013 was thoroughly considered by this august body on First and Second Reading and has undergone and complied with all the required processes following the determination of its necessity and practicability, hence its consideration on Third and Final Reading was undertaken; WHEREAS, the intent and application of the proposed measure is deemed for the best interest of the general public thus merit the body's final action and approval; NOW, THEREFORE, on seconded motion of Honorable Patrisha Kaye N. Asugas, be it RESOLVED to enact, as this body hereby enacts City Ordinance No. 2023-527, entitled: "An Ordinance Institutionalizing the Buy Local Advocacy and enjoining all concerned Establishments in the City of Pagadian to apportion a display area for locally produced goods and services as well as strengthening the Pasalubong Center in the City of Pagadian."
