RESOLUTION NO. 2023-0177 (Co-Sponsors: Committee on Police, Fire and Public Safety; Committee on infrastructure, Public Bidding and Community Development; and Committee on Barangay Affairs) "A RESOLUTION EARNESTLY REQUESTING THE HONORABLE CITY MAYOR TO CREATE A TASK FORCE THAT SHALL BE PRIMARILY TASKED TO MANAGE AND REGULATE THE TRAFFIC FLOW OF THE CITY PARTICULARLY DURING PEAK HOURS WITH THE FOLLOWING COMPOSITION AS SPECIFIED HEREUNDER" WHEREAS, the concern on the worsening traffic congestion especially during peak hours as well as the various traffic problems along the major thoroughfares of the city was brought before this august body purposely to undertake appropriate measures to address and resolve the same; WHEREAS, in view of this predicament, and taking cognizance of the recommendation of the concerned Committees, to which the foregoing matter was initially referred, it is thus imperative to institute measures so as to correct and ease the traffic flow of the city especially during peak hours, hence, the creation of a Task Force for such purpose is most appropriate and in order; NOW, THEREFORE, on seconded motion of Honorable Sam Tyra F. Co, be it RESOLVED to earnestly request, as it is hereby earnestly requested the Honorable City Mayor to create a Task Force that shall be primarily tasked to manage and regulate the traffic flow of the city particularly during peak hours with the following compositions, to wit: The Road and Traffic Management Office-Office of the City Mayor Pagadian City Police Station-Traffic Management Division Land Transportation Office-Pagadian District Office Concerned Barangay Government Unit RESOLVED FURTHER, to let a copy of this Resolution be forwarded to His Honor, City Mayor Samuel S.
