RESOLUTION NO. 2022-1691 (By: Acclamation) "A RESOLUTION EXPRESSING THE CITY'S PROFOUND GRATITUDE AND SINCEREST APPRECIATION TO THE HONORABLE SECRETARY OF THE DIFFERENT DEPARTMENT/OFFICES OF THE NATIONAL GOVERNMENT FOR THE INVALUABLE SUPPORT AND CONTRIBUTION TO THE DEVELOPMENT OF THE CITY OF PAGADIAN" WHEREAS, with the directive issued by His Excellency, President Rodrigo R. Duterte, through Memorandum Circular No. 78, dated 25 June 2020, which, in gist, repealed Memorandum Circular No. 11 (s. 2018) and directed the transfer of regional offices of National Government Agencies in Region IX from Zamboanga City to Pagadian City pursuant to Executive Order No. 429 (s. 1990), the City of Pagadian is now currently undertaking the expansion of its various infrastructure and public facilities to be able to accommodate the projected increase of its population and building density through the provision of better amenities; WHEREAS, the Honorable Secretary of the Department of Public Works and Highways have been instrumental to these development through its financial intervention who, out of their allocation have greatly helped make the foregoing aspiration and desire of the people of Pagadian City come into reality; WHEREAS, the body sincerely recognizes such magnanimous support that boosts the economic and infrastructure development of the city, hence it is now only fitting that his gesture be gratefully acknowledged; NOW, THEREFORE, on unanimous motion of all the members present, it was RESOLVED to express, as this body hereby expresses the city's profound gratitude and sincerest appreciation to the Honorable Secretary of the different department/offices of the national government for the invaluable support and contribution to the development of the City of Pagadian. RESOLVED FURTHER, to let a copy of this Resolution be transmitted to the Secretary of the different department/offices of the National Government, for their information. APPROVED UNANIMOUSLY.
