"A RESOLUTION EXPRESSING THE CITY'S HEARTFELT GRATITUDE TO HIS EXCELLENCY, PRESIDENT RODRIGO ROA DUTERTE, REPUBLIC OF THE PHILIPPINES, FOR THE EXEMPLARY PERFORMANCE AND INVALUABLE SUPPORT AND CONTRIBUTION TO THE DEVELOPMENT OF THE CITY OF PAGADIAN"

WHEREAS, His Excellency, President Rodrigo Roa Duterte, will be ending his term of office as President of the Republic of the Philippines on twelve (12) noon of June 30, 2022;
WHEREAS, President Duterte, during his tenure of office, has made countless achievements across the country both in policy and development projects whether social, agricultural and infrastructure which certainly help uplift the lives and livelihood of the citizenry--and Pagadian City, among others, is a recipient of the various social, agricultural and infrastructure projects which redound to the benefit of the city's constituencies;
WHEREAS, most notably, the issuance of Memorandum Circular No. 78, dated 25 June 2020, which, in gist, repealed Memorandum Circular No. 11 (s. 2018) and directed the transfer of regional offices of National Government Agencies in Region IX from Zamboanga City to Pagadian City pursuant to Executive Order No. 429 (s. 1990), which act is gratefully welcome by the people of Pagadian; 
WHEREAS, the body sincerely recognizes such magnanimous support to the city and the enormous contributions and accomplishments of President Rodrigo R. Duterte, hence, it is now only fitting that his feat should be gratefully acknowledged;
NOW, THEREFORE, on unanimous motion of all the members present, it was
RESOLVED to express, as this body hereby expresses the city's heartfelt gratitude to His Excellency, President Rodrigo Roa Duterte, Republic of the Philippines, for the exemplary performance and invaluable support and contribution to the development of the City of Pagadian.
RESOLVED FURTHER, to let a copy of this Resolution be forwarded to His Excellency, President Rodrigo Roa Duterte, for information.
