Gavenia) "A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE HONORABLE CITY MAYOR TO PURCHASE, BY WAY OF DEED OF ABSOLUTE SALE, A PARCEL OF LAND KNOWN AS LOT NO. 5610, CONTAINING AN AREA OF THIRTY-NINE THOUSAND SEVEN HUNDRED NINE (39,709) SQUARE METERS, SITUATED AT PUROK MAHOGANY, BARANGAY BUENAVISTA, THIS CITY, IN THE AMOUNT OF SIX MILLION SEVEN HUNDRED FIFTY THOUSAND FIVE HUNDRED THIRTY (P6,750,530.00) PESOS, WHICH AREA SHALL BE USED AND DEVELOPED AS ADDITIONAL SOLID WASTE DISPOSAL AREA OF THE CITY OF PAGADIAN" WHEREAS, the Honorable City Mayor Samuel S. Co, by way of a letter, informed this body that they have negotiated the purchase of a parcel of land bearing Lot No. 5610 with a total area of 39,709 square meters, adjacent to the existing Solid Waste Disposal Area at Purok Mahogany, Barangay Buenavista, this city, at a fair market value of One Hundred Seventy (P170.00) Pesos per square meter, to be used and developed as additional solid waste disposal area, with a further request for an authority to purchase the same; WHEREAS, upon careful perusal and evaluation, this body expressly supports the plan of the Honorable City Mayor, such that it is thus imperative to clothe the Honorable City Mayor with the necessary authority to represent the City Government in the formal forging of such Deed of Absolute Sale; NOW, THEREFORE, on seconded motion of Honorable Arnold R. Gavenia, be it RESOLVED to authorize, as this body hereby authorizes the Honorable City Mayor to purchase, by way of Deed of Absolute Sale, a parcel of land known as Lot No. 5610, containing an area of Thirty-Nine Thousand Seven Hundred Nine (39,709) square meters, situated at Purok Mahogany, Barangay Buenavista, this city, in the amount of Six Million Seven Hundred Fifty Thousand Five Hundred Thirty (P6,750,530.00) Pesos, which area shall be used and developed as additional solid waste disposal area of the City of Pagadian. RESOLVED FURTHER, to let a copy of this Resolution be forwarded to His Honor, City Mayor Samuel S. Co; and all others concerned, for their information, guidance and/or appropriate action.
