RESOLUTION NO. 2022-1676 (Sponsored By: Honorable Sam Tyra F. Co) "A RESOLUTION OFFICIALLY ADOPTING THE VOLUME II OF THE "PROFILE OF SIGNIFICANT CULTURAL HERITAGE OF THE CITY OF PAGADIAN"" WHEREAS, consistent with Section 14 (b) and (c) of RA 10066, otherwise known as the "National Cultural Heritage Act of 2009," the Department of the Interior and Local Government and the National Commission for Culture and the Arts (DILG--NCCA) issued Joint Memorandum Circular 2018-01, which, in gist, required Local Government Units to establish and maintain a local inventory of cultural property registry which shall form part of the Philippine Registry of Cultural Property (PRECUP); WHEREAS, this body, on its 89th Regular Session last July 07, 2021, officially adopted the Volume I of the "Profile of Significant Cultural Heritage of Pagadian City" by virtue of Resolution No. 2021-1185; WHEREAS, just recently, this august body received a copy of Volume II of the "Profile of Significant Cultural Heritage of the City of Pagadian" as submitted by the Cultural Mapping Team of Pagadian City, for adoption; WHEREAS, after careful perusal and evaluation, this body finds it cogently necessary to officially adopt the same, hence, this passage; NOW, THEREFORE, on seconded motion of Honorable Sam Tyra F. Co, be it RESOLVED to officially adopt, as this body hereby officially adopts the Volume II of the "Profile of Significant Cultural Heritage of the City of Pagadian." RESOLVED FURTHER, to let copies of this Resolution be furnished, the Honorable City Mayor Samuel S. Co; the Cultural Mapping Team of Pagadian City; and others concerned for their information and guidance. APPROVED UNANIMOUSLY. I HEREBY CERTIFY to the correctness of the foregoing resolution.
