RESOLUTION NO. 2022-1672 (Co-Sponsors: Committee on Public Utilities, Transportation, Communications & Franchising; and Committee on Laws, Rules & Policy Formulation) "A RESOLUTION APPROVING DRAFT ORDINANCE NO. 111 ON THIRD READING AND ORDAINING THE SAME AS CITY ORDINANCE NO. 2022-516, ENTITLED: "AN ORDINANCE PROVIDING FOR AN INCREASE IN THE NUMBER OF MOTORIZED TRICYCLE-FOR-HIRE ALLOWED TO OPERATE WITHIN THE JURISDICTION OF PAGADIAN CITY FROM THREE THOUSAND FIVE HUNDRED (3,500) UNITS TO FOUR THOUSAND (4,000) UNITS, AND THEREBY, AMENDING CITY ORDINANCE NO. 2019-432" WHEREAS, Draft Ordinance No. 111, authored by the Honorable Arnold R. Gavenia, was thoroughly considered by this august body on First and Second Reading and has undergone and complied with all the required processes following the determination of its necessity and practicality, hence, its consideration on Third and Final Reading was undertaken; WHEREAS, the intent and application of the proposed measure is deemed for the best interest of the general public thus merits the body's final action and approval; NOW, THEREFORE, on seconded motion of Honorable Jesuseller M. Duterte, be it RESOLVED to approve, as it hereby approves Draft Ordinance No. 111 on Third Reading and ordaining the same as City Ordinance No. 2022-516, entitled: "An Ordinance Providing for an Increase in the Number of Motorized Tricycle-for-Hire Allowed to Operate within the Jurisdiction of Pagadian City from Three Thousand Five Hundred (3,500) Units to Four Thousand (4,000) Units, and thereby, Amending City Ordinance No. 2019-432".
