RESOLUTION NO. 2022-1663 (By: Acclamation) "A RESOLUTION EXPRESSING THE CITY'S PROFOUND SYMPATHY AND CONDOLENCES TO THE MENDOZA FAMILY AND RELATIVES FOR THE DEMISE OF THEIR BELOVED PATRIARCH, COLONEL BAYANI MENDOZA, PA (RET.), LAST AUGUST 27, 2021, AT THE AGE OF 87" WHEREAS, Colonel Bayani Mendoza, PA (Ret.), a decorated military officer who had served the country well both as an active member of the Philippine Army and a reservist as well as a known champion of education to which he had devoted himself for quite a very long time, had succumbed to death and join our Almighty Creator last August 27, 2021 at the age of 87; WHEREAS, this august body, in representation of the people of Pagadian City, is deeply saddened by his death as it profoundly sympathizes with the bereaved family for their loss of a father and provider, a brother and an advisor who, aside from dedicating his lifetime for the welfare of his family, had also selflessly shared his talent, effort and resources to public service through the provision and promotion of quality education; NOW, THEREFORE, on seconded motion of all the Council Members present, it was RESOLVED, as it is hereby resolved to express the city's profound sympathy and condolences to the Mendoza Family and relatives for the demise of their beloved patriarch, Colonel Bayani Mendoza, PA (Ret.), last August 27, 2021, at the age of 87. RESOLVED FURTHER, to let a copy of this Resolution be officially transmitted to the Mendoza Family, for their information. APPROVED BY ACCLAMATION.
