RESOLUTION NO. 2022-1645 (Sponsored by: Honorable Arnold R. Gavenia) "A RESOLUTION APPROVING THE DONATION OF TWO (2) UNITS MOTOR VEHICLES MORE PARTICULARLY ONE (1) UNIT USED COMMUTER VAN AND ONE (1) UNIT USED PICK-UP TO THE DEPARTMENT OF SOCIAL WELFARE AND DEVELOPMENT-REGIONAL OFFICE IX (DSWD RO-IX) AND, AUTHORIZING THE HONORABLE CITY MAYOR TO EXECUTE AND SIGN, FOR AND IN BEHALF OF THE CITY GOVERNMENT OF PAGADIAN, THE DEED OF DONATION FOR SUCH PURPOSE" WHEREAS, the City Government of Pagadian is the registered owner of two (2) units motor vehicles particularly one (1) unit used Commuter Van and one (1) unit used Pick-Up; WHEREAS, in consideration of the request of the Department of Social Welfare and Development-Regional Office IX, the Honorable City Mayor, as a manifestation of the City Government's intention to provide necessary support to help improve the department's capability to effectively perform their mandate, proposed to donate two (2) units motor vehicle for use in the delivery of the needed social services to the city's qualified beneficiaries in the far-flung barangays as well as other official public services; WHEREAS, the body, upon careful perusal and evaluation, and finding no legal impediment thereto, deems it appropriate to clothe the Honorable City Mayor with the necessary authority to represent the City Government in the formal forging of such Deed of Donation; NOW, THEREFORE, on seconded motion of Honorable Arnold R. Gavenia, be it RESOLVED to approve, as this body hereby approves the donation of two (2) units motor vehicles more particularly one (1) unit used Commuter Van and one (1) unit used Pick-Up to the Department of Social Welfare and Development-Regional Office IX (DSWD RO-IX) and, authorizing the Honorable City Mayor to execute and sign, for and in behalf of the City Government of Pagadian, the Deed of Donation for such purpose. RESOLVED FURTHER, to let copies of this Resolution be forwarded to Honorable City Mayor Samuel S. Co, for his favorable consideration; to the City Legal Officer; and to the Regional Director, Atty. Sittie Raifah M. Pamaloy-Hassan, Department of Social Welfare and Development Regional Office IX, Gen.
