Gavenia) "A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE HONORABLE CITY MAYOR TO PURCHASE TWO (2) UNITS OF MOTOR VEHICLES PICK-UP TYPE IN THE TOTAL AMOUNT OF TWO MILLION EIGHT HUNDRED NINETY-TWO THOUSAND NINE HUNDRED THIRTY-SIX (P2,892,936.00) PESOS TO BE TAKEN FROM ACCOUNT CODE NO. RF22-1000-2-A-1g, PURCHASE OF MOTOR VEHICLES, ACCOUNT (1-2007-06-010), UNDER THE CALENDAR YEAR 2022 ANNUAL BUDGET, FOR THE EXCLUSIVE USE OF THE CITY DISASTER RISK REDUCTION MANAGEMENT OFFICE (CDRRMO) IN RESCUE OPERATIONS" WHEREAS, the Honorable City Mayor, in a letter, requested for a legislative authority to purchase additional two (2) units motor vehicles pick-up type in the total amount of Two Million Eight Hundred Ninety-Two Thousand Nine Hundred Thirty-Six (P2,892,936.00) Pesos, to be taken from Account Code No. RF22-1000-2-A-1g, Purchase of Motor Vehicles, under the Calendar Year 2022 Annual Budget--the availability of such amount has been certified by the City Budget Officer, to be used by the City Disaster Risk Reduction Management Office (CDRRMO) for rescue operations; WHEREAS, to ensure the attainment of the purpose to which the motor vehicles are to be purchased, the proposed procurement shall be undertaken under the following specifications, to wit: Two (2) Units Vehicle (Pick-Up type): Over-all Dimension 5,365 x 1,855 x 1,815 (mm) Engine Size 2.4 L Engine Displacement 2,393cc Number of Cylinders 4 Number of Valve 16-Valve DOHC Variable Nozzle Turbo with Air-cooled Intercooler Transmission 6-Speed Manual Maximum Output(ps/rpm) 150/3,400 Maximum Torque(nm/rpm) 400/1,600-2000 Fuel Capacity (L) 80 Brakes Ventilated Disc/(Front) Drum Type (Rear) Tire & Wheel 265/65 R17 Alloy with Center Cap Seating Capacity 5 WHEREAS, this body finds the acquisition of the above-specified motor vehicles to be urgent and necessary for the purpose mentioned, thus the extension of the authority sought is in order and most appropriate; NOW, THEREFORE, on seconded motion of Honorable Arnold R. Gavenia, be it RESOLVED to authorize, as this body hereby authorizes the Honorable City Mayor to purchase Two (2) Units of Motor Vehicles Pick-Up type in the total amount of Two Million Eight Hundred Ninety-Two Thousand Nine Hundred Thirty-Six (P2,892,936.00) Pesos to be taken from Account Code No. RF22-1000-2-A-1g, Purchase of Motor Vehicles, under the Calendar Year 2022 Annual Budget, for the exclusive use of the City Disaster Risk Reduction Management Office (CDRRMO) in rescue operations. RESOLVED FURTHER, to let a copy of this Resolution be forwarded to His Honor, City Mayor Samuel S.
