"A RESOLUTION OFFICIALLY ENDORSING MS. SCOTTIE MUTIA ALVIZ AS OFFICIAL CANDIDATE OF PAGADIAN CITY TO THE MISS PHILIPPINES-EARTH 2022 PAGEANT AND, AUTHORIZING THE HONORABLE CITY MAYOR TO EXTEND FINANCIAL ASSISTANCE IN THE AMOUNT OF ONE HUNDRED SIXTY THOUSAND (P160,000.00) PESOS TO HELP DEFRAY NECESSARY EXPENSES INCIDENTAL TO HER PARTICIPATION"

WHEREAS, Ms. Scottie Mutia Alviz has been selected and officially qualified as candidate to the upcoming Miss Philippines-Earth 2022, representing the City of Pagadian;

WHEREAS, such qualification and official entry of Ms. Alviz to one of the most prestigious pageant brings honor and pride not only to her family but also to the City of Pagadian which she represents;

WHEREAS, as a gesture of motivating and expressing the City Government's all-out support, this body finds it most prudent to extend the amount of P160,000.00 as financial assistance to help defray all necessary expenses incidental to her participation and--for this purpose, authorizing the Honorable City Mayor to allocate and release such amount is most appropriate and in order; 

NOW, THEREFORE, on seconded motion of Honorable Sam Tyra F. Co, be it

RESOLVED to endorse, as this body hereby endorses Ms. Scottie Mutia Alviz as official candidate of Pagadian City to the Miss Philippines-Earth 2022 Pageant.
 
RESOLVED FURTHER, authorizing the Honorable City Mayor to extend financial assistance in the amount of One Hundred Sixty Thousand (P160,000.00) Pesos to help defray the expenses incidental to her participation. 

RESOLVED, FINALLY, to let copies of this Resolution be forwarded to His Honor, City Mayor Samuel S. Co, for information and favorable consideration; the City Budget Officer; the City Accountant; the City Treasurer; the City Auditor; and Ms. Scottie Mutia Alviz, for their information and guidance.
