RESOLUTION NO. 2022-1629 (Sponsored by: Honorable Ronald Christopher Glenn L. Ariosa) "A RESOLUTION GRATEFULLY ACKNOWLEDGING THE INITIATIVE AND EARNEST EFFORT EXERTED BY HONORABLE CITY MAYOR SAMUEL S. CO IN PROVIDING FREE SHUTTLE BUS RIDE TO AND FROM THE PRESIDENT CORAZON C. AQUINO REGIONAL CENTER SITE AT BARANGAY BALINTAWAK, THIS CITY, FOR THE BENEFIT AND CONVENIENCE OF ALL EMPLOYEES OF THE DIFFERENT REGIONAL OFFICES INCLUDING THOSE PERSONS WHO HAVE BUSINESS TRANSACTIONS THEREAT" WHEREAS, due to public clamor brought about by the rising prices of petroleum products which resulted to some unscrupulous tricycle drivers charging exorbitant rates, the Honorable City Mayor, consistent with the general welfare clause of the Philippine Constitution, took the initiative by providing free shuttle bus ride for all regional offices' employees including the public who have business transactions thereat plying from City Hall Complex to the President Corazon C. Aquino Regional Government Center at Barangay Balintawak and vice versa; WHEREAS, such effort and initiative undertaken by the City Chief Executive has considerably mitigated the already overstrained financial condition of every employee including the public who have business transaction thereat, hence, it is worthy to be praised and acknowledged; NOW, THEREFORE, on seconded motion of Honorable Ronald Christopher Glenn L. Ariosa, be it RESOLVED to gratefully acknowledge, as this body hereby gratefully acknowledges the initiative and earnest effort exerted by Honorable City Mayor Samuel S. Co in providing free shuttle bus ride to and from the President Corazon C. Aquino Regional Center site at Barangay Balintawak, this city, for the benefit and convenience of all employees of the different regional offices including those persons who have business transactions thereat. RESOLVED FURTHER, to let copies of this Resolution be forwarded to His Honor, City Mayor Samuel S. Co, for his information and reference. APPROVED UNANIMOUSLY.
