RESOLUTION NO. 2022-1621 (Co-Sponsors: Committee on Tourism, Sisterhood Program, Arts & Culture; and on Laws, Rules & Policy Formulation) "A RESOLUTION RECALLING RESOLUTION NO. 2022-1437 WHICH, IN GIST, APPROVED THE PASSAGE OF CITY ORDINANCE NO. 2022-501, ENTITLED: "AN ORDINANCE NAMING THE ENTIRE STRETCH OF UPPER LUMBOY, BARANGAY TUBURAN, THIS CITY, AS GOVERNOR BIENVENIDO A. EBARLE STREET" AND RENDERING THE SAME INVALID AND INEFFECTIVE" WHEREAS, this august body, during its 112th Regular Session held on 12 January 2022, adopted Resolution No. 2022-1437, entitled: "A Resolution adopting Draft Ordinance No. 098 on Third Reading and denominating the same as City Ordinance No. 2022-501, entitled: "An Ordinance Naming the Entire Stretch of Upper Lumboy, Barangay Tuburan, this City, as Governor Bienvenido A. Ebarle Street; WHEREAS, this body, in view of the favorable recommendation of the Joint Committees on Tourism, Sisterhood Program, Arts & Culture and on Laws, Rules & Policy Formulation, to which the foregoing matter was initially referred, and considering the remarkable contribution of the late former Governor Bienvenido A. Ebarle to the development of the Province of Zamboanga del Sur and Pagadian City, deems it appropriate and in order to name the commonly known PADAP road up to Barangay Danlugan in his honor instead of the unnamed road at Upper Lumboy, Barangay Tuburan, thus, recalling the above-mentioned resolution is necessary; NOW, THEREFORE, on seconded motion of Honorable Sam Tyra F. Co, be it RESOLVED to recall, as this body hereby recalls Resolution No. 2022-1437 which, in gist, approved the passage of City Ordinance No. 2022-501, entitled: "An Ordinance Naming the entire stretch of Upper Lumboy, Barangay Tuburan, this city, as Governor Bienvenido A. Ebarle Street" and rendering the same invalid and ineffective. APPROVED UNANIMOUSLY. HEREBY CERTIFY to the correctness of the foregoing resolution. MAPHILINDO Q.
