Quicoy) "A RESOLUTION APPROVING THE DONATION FOR THE REPAIR OF CLASSROOMS OF THE FOLLOWING SCHOOLS, NAMELY: PALPALAN ELEMENTARY SCHOOL OF BARANGAY PALPALAN, LUMAD ELEMENTARY SCHOOL OF BARANGAY LUMAD, MACASING ELEMENTARY SCHOOL OF BARANGAY MACASING, FRANCISCO P. CONSOLACION NATIONAL HIGH SCHOOL AT BARANGAY MACASING, GUBAC ELEMENTARY SCHOOL OF BARANGAY GUBAC, GUBANG ELEMENTARY SCHOOL OF BARANGAY GUBANG; TIGUMA ELEMENTARY SCHOOL OF BARANGAY TIGUMA, TAWAGAN SUR ELEMENTARY SCHOOL OF BARANGAY TAWAGAN SUR, TAWAGAN SUR NATIONAL HIGH SCHOOL OF BARANGAY TAWAGAN SUR, LENIENZA ELEMENTARY SCHOOL OF BARANGAY LENIENZA, MANGA ELEMENTARY SCHOOL OF BARANGAY MANGA, AND MANGA NATIONAL HIGH SCHOOL OF BARANGAY MANGA, ALL OF THIS CITY, IN THE TOTAL AMOUNT OF ONE MILLION THREE HUNDRED SEVENTY-SIX THOUSAND FIVE HUNDRED FIFTY-SIX AND 87/100 (P1,376,556.87) IN CONNECTION WITH THE IMPLEMENTATION OF THE ADOPT-A-SCHOOL PROGRAM OF THE DEPARTMENT OF EDUCATION-PAGADIAN CITY SCHOOLS DIVISION OFFICE AND, AUTHORIZING THE HONORABLE CITY MAYOR TO SIGN, FOR AND IN BEHALF OF THE CITY GOVERNMENT OF PAGADIAN, THE DEED OF DONATION RELATED THERETO" WHEREAS, the City Government of Pagadian, in line with its thrust to contribute to the cause of education for the learners through the implementation of the Adopt-a-School Program is committed to extend all necessary assistance to the Department of Education to help in the delivery of quality education in the City through the provision for the repair of the classrooms at the following schools, namely: Palpalan Elementary School of Barangay Palpalan, Lumad Elementary School of Barangay Lumad; Macasing Elementary School of Barangay Macasing; Francisco P. Consolacion National High School at Barangay Macasing, Gubac Elementary School of Barangay Gubac, Gubang Elementary School of Barangay Gubang, Tiguma Elementary School of Barangay Tiguma, Tawagan Sur Elementary School of Barangay Tawagan Sur, Tawagan Sur National High School of Barangay Tawagan Sur, Lenienza Elementary School of Barangay Lenienza, Manga Elementary School of Barangay Manga, and Manga National High School of Barangay Manga, all of this City; WHEREAS, to ensure the early and successful pursuance of such project, there is a need for the formal forging of a Deed of Donation, such that the Honorable City Mayor has sought for legislative authority to sign such deed for and in behalf of the City Government of Pagadian--which request, after careful perusal and evaluation by this august body, has been found meritorious and worthy of support, hence, this passage; NOW, THEREFORE, on seconded motion of Honorable Teodoro M. Quicoy, be it RESOLVED to approve, as this body hereby approves the donation for the repair of classrooms at the following schools, namely: Palpalan Elementary School of Barangay Palpalan, Lumad Elementary School of Barangay Lumad; Macasing Elementary School of Barangay Macasing; Francisco P. Consolacion National High School at Barangay Macasing, Gubac Elementary School of Barangay Gubac, Gubang Elementary School of Barangay Gubang, Tiguma Elementary School of Barangay Tiguma, Tawagan Sur Elementary School of Barangay Tawagan Sur, Tawagan Sur National High School of Barangay Tawagan Sur, Lenienza Elementary School of Barangay Lenienza, Manga Elementary School of Barangay Manga, and Manga National High School of Barangay Manga, all of this city, in the total amount of One Million Three Hundred Seventy-Six Thousand Five Hundred Fifty-Six and 87/100 (P1,376,556.87) Pesos, in connection with the implementation of the Adopt-a-School Program of the Department of Education-Pagadian City Schools Division Office. RESOLVED, FURTHER, to authorize the Honorable City Mayor to sign, for and in behalf of the City Government of Pagadian, the Deed of Donation related thereto. RESOLVED, FINALLY, to let copies of this Resolution be forwarded to Honorable City Mayor Samuel S. Co, for his favorable consideration; to the City Legal Officer; and to the different School Heads: Mr. Elizer Caparoso, Mr. Renen Puerto, Mr. Nilo Viador, Mr. Japhet Monsion, Mr. Ferdinand Origenes, Mr. Jun I. Lebuntacil, Mrs. Adelfa Emerald Macaumbang, Mr. Joenel Maribao, Mrs. Babai Paniorotan, Mrs. Sheila Leonardo, Mrs. Annabelle Espinosa, and Mr. Wilfred Hope David, all of this City, for information, guidance and/or appropriate action.
