Quicoy) "A RESOLUTION APPROVING THE DONATION TO NAPOLAN NATIONAL HIGH SCHOOL, BARANGAY NAPOLAN, THE REPAIR OF CLASSROOMS IN THE TOTAL AMOUNT OF ONE HUNDRED FORTY-NINE THOUSAND SIX HUNDRED FIFTY AND 36/100 (P149,650.36) PESOS, IN CONNECTION WITH THE IMPLEMENTATION OF THE ADOPT-A-SCHOOL PROGRAM OF THE DEPARTMENT OF EDUCATION-PAGADIAN CITY SCHOOLS DIVISION OFFICE AND, AUTHORIZING THE HONORABLE CITY MAYOR TO SIGN, FOR AND IN BEHALF OF THE CITY GOVERNMENT OF PAGADIAN, THE DEED OF DONATION RELATED THERETO" WHEREAS, the City Government of Pagadian, in line with its thrust to contribute to the cause of education for the learners through the implementation of the Adopt-a-School Program is committed to extend all necessary assistance to the Department of Education to help in the delivery of quality education in the City through the provision for the repair of the classrooms at Napolan National High School, this City; WHEREAS, to ensure the early and successful pursuance of such project, there is a need for the formal forging of a Deed of Donation, such that the Honorable City Mayor has sought for legislative authority to sign such deed for and in behalf of the City Government of Pagadian--which request, after careful perusal and evaluation by this august body, has been found meritorious and worthy of support, hence, this passage; NOW, THEREFORE, on seconded motion of Honorable Teodoro M. Quicoy, be it RESOLVED to approve, as this body hereby approves the donation to Napolan National High School, Barangay Napolan, this City, the repair of classrooms in the amount of One Hundred Forty-Nine Thousand Six Hundred Fifty and 36/100 (P149,650.36) Pesos, in connection with the implementation of the Adopt-a-School Program of the Department of Education-Pagadian City Schools Division Office. RESOLVED, FURTHER, to authorize the Honorable City Mayor to sign, for and in behalf of the City Government of Pagadian, the Deed of Donation related thereto. RESOLVED, FINALLY, to let copies of this Resolution be forwarded to Honorable City Mayor Samuel S. Co, for his favorable consideration; to the City Legal Officer; and Mr. Valeriano M. Barte, School Head, Napolan National High School, Barangay Napolan, this City, for information, guidance and/or appropriate action. APPROVED UNANIMOUSLY.
