Quicoy) "A RESOLUTION APPROVING THE DONATION FOR THE REPAIR OF CLASSROOMS TO THE PAGADIAN CITY PILOT SCHOOL (PCPS), BARANGAY SAN JOSE, IN THE AMOUNT OF EIGHT HUNDRED SEVENTY-TWO THOUSAND ONE HUNDRED NINETY-FIVE AND 58/100 (P872,195.58) PESOS, IN CONNECTION WITH THE IMPLEMENTATION OF THE ADOPT-A-SCHOOL PROGRAM AND, AUTHORIZING THE HONORABLE CITY MAYOR TO SIGN, FOR AND IN BEHALF OF THE CITY GOVERNMENT OF PAGADIAN, THE DEED OF DONATION RELATED THERETO" WHEREAS, the City Government of Pagadian, in line with its thrust to contribute to the cause of education for the learners through the implementation of the Adopt-A-School Program is committed to extend all necessary assistance to the Department of Education to help in the delivery of quality education in the City through the repair of classrooms at Pagadian City Pilot School (PCPS); WHEREAS, to ensure the early and successful pursuance of such project, there is a need for the formal forging of a Deed of Donation, such that the Honorable City Mayor has sought for legislative authority to sign such deed for and in behalf of the City Government of Pagadian--which request, after careful perusal and evaluation by this august body, has been found meritorious and worthy of support, hence, this passage; NOW, THEREFORE, on seconded motion of Honorable Teodoro M. Quicoy, be it RESOLVED to approve, as this body hereby approves the donation for the repair of classrooms to the Pagadian City Pilot School (PCPS), Barangay San Jose, this city, in the amount of Eight Hundred Seventy-Two Thousand One Hundred Ninety-Five and 58/100 (P872,195.58) Pesos, in connection with the implementation of the Adopt-A-School Program. RESOLVED, FURTHER, to authorize the Honorable City Mayor to sign, for and in behalf of the City Government of Pagadian, the Deed of Donation related thereto. RESOLVED, FINALLY, to let copies of this Resolution be forwarded to Honorable City Mayor Samuel S. Co, for his favorable consideration; to the City Legal Officer; and Mr. Agustin D. Gallegos, School Head, Pagadian City Pilot School, this City, for information, guidance and/or appropriate action. APPROVED UNANIMOUSLY. HEREBY CERTIFY to the correctness of the foregoing resolution.
