Co) "A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE HONORABLE CITY MAYOR TO ENTER AND SIGN, FOR AND IN BEHALF OF THE CITY GOVERNMENT OF PAGADIAN, THE CONTRACT OF SERVICES WITH MR. JUAN CARLOS GALANO, A TALENT HOST OF THE GMA NETWORK, FOR OFFICIALLY HOSTING THE YOUTH RALLY FOR SUSTAINABLE ECONOMIC AGENDA FOR LEADERSHIP AND SERVICE (SEALS) SPEARHEADED BY THE CITY GOVERNMENT OF PAGADIAN AND, FURTHER AUTHORIZING THE ALLOCATION OF APPROPRIATE FUNDS, OUT OF ANY AVAILABLE FUND SOURCES OF THE CITY GOVERNMENT, FOR THE PAYMENT OF HIS TALENT FEE INCLUDING TRAVELLING AND ACCOMMODATION EXPENSES" WHEREAS, the City Government of Pagadian will be spearheading a Youth Rally for Sustainable Economic Agenda for Leadership and Service (SEALS) 05 May 2022, at the City Plaza at 3:00 o'clock in the afternoon which will be attended and participated by the youth leaders of the city; WHEREAS, in order to make the event more festive and jovial, a TV personality from the GMA Network in the person of Mr. Juan Carlos Galano was invited to grace and host the occasion, such that a Contract of Services by and between the City Government of Pagadian and Mr. Galano is necessary where the duties and responsibilities of both parties including the payment of talent fee as well as travelling and accommodation expenses have been specified--for which a request for authority to enter into the same has been sought by the Honorable City Mayor; WHEREAS, after careful perusal and evaluation, this body finds the request worthy of support, hence, this passage; NOW, THEREFORE, on seconded motion of Honorable Sam Tyra F. Co, be it RESOLVED to authorize, as this body hereby authorizes the Honorable City Mayor to enter and sign, for and in behalf of the City Government of Pagadian, the Contract of Services with Mr. Juan Carlos Galano, a talent host of the GMA Network, for officially hosting the Youth Rally for Sustainable Economic Agenda for Leadership and Service (SEALS) spearheaded by the City Government of Pagadian and, further authorizing the allocation of appropriate funds, out of any available fund sources of the City Government, for the payment of his talent fee including travelling and accommodation expenses. RESOLVED FURTHER, to let copies of this Resolution be furnished His Honor, City Mayor Samuel S. Co, for his preferential consideration and favorable action; and others concerned for their information and guidance. APPROVED UNANIMOUSLY.
