RESOLUTION NO. 2022-1569 (Co-Sponsors: Committees on Health & Social Services; on Commerce, Trade & Industry, Economic Enterprises and Cooperatives; and on Police, Fire & Public Safety) "A RESOLUTION APPROVING ON SECOND READING, DRAFT ORDINANCE NO. 107, ENTITLED: "AN ORDINANCE PRESCRIBING POLICIES FOR RESPONSIBLE DISPENSING, SELLING AND RESELLING OF PRESCRIPTIONS AND PHARMACIST ONLY-OVER-THE-COUNTER PHARMACEUTICAL PRODUCTS IN ALL DRUGSTORES AND PHARMACIES INCLUDING, BUT NOT LIMITED TO, THE PROHIBITION OF DISPENSING, SELLING AND RESELLING OF PRESCRIPTIONS AND PHARMACIST ONLY-OVER-THE-COUNTER PHARMACEUTICAL PRODUCTS IN ALL SARI-SARI STORES AND OTHER SIMILAR RETAIL OUTLETS WITHIN THE TERRITORIAL JURISDICTION OF PAGADIAN CITY, PURSUANT TO REPUBLIC ACT NO. 10918, PROVIDING PENALTIES THEREOF, AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES," AND FOR ITS CONSIDERATION ON THIRD AND FINAL READING" WHEREAS, this body, after thorough consideration of the substance and merits of Draft Ordinance No. 107 on Second Reading, finds the measure very relevant and most applicable under the present circumstances; WHEREAS, following the deliberation and discussion by the body through the Committees concerned which facilitated its consideration on Second Reading, the body deems the draft sufficient so as to warrant its treatment on Third Reading; NOW, THEREFORE, on seconded motion of Honorable Priscilla M. Fernandez, be it RESOLVED to approve, as this body hereby approves on Second Reading. Draft Ordinance No. 107, entitled: "An Ordinance Prescribing Policies for Responsible Dispensing, Selling and Reselling of Prescriptions and Pharmacist Only-Over-The-Counter Pharmaceutical Products in all Drugstores and Pharmacies including, but not limited to, the Prohibition of Dispensing, Selling and Reselling of Prescriptions and Pharmacist Only-Over-The-Counter Pharmaceutical Products in all Sari-sari Stores and Other Similar Retail Outlets within the Territorial Jurisdiction of Pagadian City, Pursuant to Republic Act No. 10918, Providing Penalties Thereof, and for other purposes," and for its consideration on Third and Final Reading.
