"A RESOLUTION ACKNOWLEDGING WITH GRATEFUL RECOGNITION THE CONTINUED EFFORT AND DEDICATED SERVICE OF THE DEPARTMENT OF TRADE AND INDUSTRY (DTI)-ZAMBOANGA DEL SUR PROVINCIAL OFFICE, IN PROMOTING AND PROTECTING THE WELFARE OF THE CONSUMERS AS EXEMPLIFIED BY THE CONDUCT OF REGULAR PRICE MONITORING OF BASIC GOODS AMIDST THE RISING PRICES OF PETROLEUM PRODUCTS"

WHEREAS, the Department of Trade and Industry (DTI)-Zamboanga del Sur Provincial Office, during its celebration of the World Consumers Rights Day last 15 March 2022, reported its office accomplishments and achievements particularly the conduct of regular monitoring of prices of basic commodities in consideration of the series of oil price hike so as prevent, local businesses from taking advantage of such volatile situation which, if tolerated and allowed, is detrimental and prejudicial to the consuming public; 

WHEREAS, such commitment and dedication to public service exhibited by the officers and personnel of the Department of Trade and Industry (DTI)-Zamboanga del Sur Provincial Office in promoting and protecting the welfare of the consuming residents of Pagadian City, in particular, and the Province of Zamboanga del Sur, in general, is worthy of acknowledgement and recognition from this august body;

NOW, THEREFORE, on seconded motion of Honorable Fernando Y. Pameron, be it 
RESOLVED, as it is hereby resolved to acknowledge with grateful recognition the continued effort and dedicated service of the Department of Trade and Industry (DTI)-Zamboanga del Sur Provincial Office, in promoting and protecting the welfare of the consumers as exemplified by the conduct of regular price monitoring of basic goods amidst the rising prices of petroleum products.
RESOLVED, FURTHER, to let copies of this Resolution be transmitted to the Department of Trade and Industry (DTI)-Zamboanga del Sur Provincial Office through Provincial Director Flora G. Miraflor, NACIDA Building, Capitol Complex, this city, for their information and reference.
