"A RESOLUTION REQUESTING THE PAGADIAN CITY POLICE STATION THROUGH THE CHIEF OF POLICE TO CONDUCT A THOROUGH INVESTIGATION ON THE INCIDENTS OF PRANK ORDERS UNDERTAKEN BY SOME UNSCRUPULOUS/MISCHIEVOUS PERSON(S) VICTIMIZING POLITICAL FIGURES IN THE CITY OF PAGADIAN"
WHEREAS, the Sangguniang Panlungsod expressed concern and alarm over the rising number of prank orders using electronic call or messaging committed by unscrupulous and/or mischievous persons victimizing innocent local residents--where such act is audaciously and fearlessly perpetrated despite the possibility of being caught under City Ordinance No. 2021-491, entitled: "An Ordinance Penalizing Mischievous or Prank Orders, Online Shopping Scams and Prank Alarms, Through Any Means of Electronic Calls and/or Messaging, Against Any Person(s) or Establishment, Whether Food or Non-Food Business and/or Service Providers Including, But Not Limited To, Unjust Refusal to Pay, Misrepresentation of Product(s), Capacity to Sell and Arbitrary Cancellation of Orders;" 
WHEREAS, very recently, another incident of prank order transpired where the victim is a member of the Sangguniang Panlungsod, such that this body, in an effort to prevent the recurrence of such deplorable and lamentable acts or incident where other innocent residents will still become victims of the same, finds it urgently necessary to seek the intervention of the Pagadian City Police Station to conduct a thorough investigation and resolve the matter as speedily as possible; 
NOW, THEREFORE, on seconded motion of Honorable Ronald Christopher Glenn L. Ariosa, be it 
RESOLVED to request, as this body hereby requests, the Pagadian City Police Station through the Chief of Police to conduct a thorough investigation on the incidents of prank orders undertaken by some unscrupulous/mischievous person(s) victimizing political figures in the City of Pagadian.
RESOLVED, FURTHER, that copies of this Resolution be transmitted to the Acting Chief of Police, PLTCOL Khisna B. Asaali, Pagadian City Police Station, City Hall Complex, this City, for information and appropriate action.
