RESOLUTION NO. 2022-1508 (Sponsor: Honorable Vincenzo E. Cagampang) "A RESOLUTION REQUESTING THE HONORABLE CITY MAYOR TO DIRECT THE CITY BUDGET OFFICER TO EXPEDITE THE PROCESSING AND RELEASE OF THE SALARIES OF THE PART-TIME INSTRUCTORS OF THE PAGADIAN CITY INTERNATIONAL COLLEGE COVERING THE SPECIFIC PERIOD FROM OCTOBER 2021 UP TO DECEMBER 2021" WHEREAS, it has been noted that in order to accelerate the initial maneuver of the Pagadian City International College, part-time teachers were hired to impart learning on the subjects required for the first level of the four courses the local college is offering; WHEREAS, similarly, on a point of information manifested by Honorable Vincenzo E. Cagampang, the body was apprised that these hired part time teachers was not yet compensated from October 2021 to December 2021 thus, Mr. Robert Peter S. Ancheta, OIC College Administrator, requested for the expedition of the release of the said wages; WHEREAS, based on the foregoing premises, there is thus a cogent necessity to compel offices of the City Government responsible for the purpose of facilitating and expediting the release of the salaries of the above-mentioned teachers, hence this request; NOW, THEREFORE, on seconded motion of Honorable Vincenzo E. Cagampang, be it RESOLVED to request, as this body hereby requests the Honorable City Mayor to direct the City Budget Officer to expedite the processing and release of the salaries of the part-time instructors of the Pagadian City International College covering the specific period from October 2021 up to December 2021. RESOLVED FURTHER, to let copies of this Resolution be forwarded to His Honor, City Mayor Samuel S. Co, for information and favorable action; to the OIC-College Administrator, Pagadian City International College, Robert Peter S. Ancheta, for information and follow-up. APPROVED UNANIMOUSLY.
