RESOLUTION NO. 2022-1487 (Sponsor: Honorable Priscilla M. Fernandez) "A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE HONORABLE CITY MAYOR TO ENTER, FOR AND IN BEHALF OF THE CITY GOVERNMENT OF PAGADIAN, INTO A MEMORANDUM OF AGREEMENT WITH THE DEPARTMENT OF HEALTH (DOH)-REGIONAL OFFICE 9, AND DR. FARR KRIZHA I. TANGKUSAN WITH REFERENCE TO THE IMPLEMENTATION OF THE DOCTORS TO THE BARRIOS (DTTB) PROGRAM IN THE CITY OF PAGADIAN" WHEREAS, in line with the implementation of the Doctors to the Barrios Program, the Department of Health (DOH)-Regional Office 9, has designated and assigned a medical practitioner in the name of Dr. Farr Krizha I. Tangkusan to assist the City Government through the City Health Office in providing basic health services to its constituents--which designation and assignment has been willingly accepted by the Local Government Unit of Pagadian City; WHEREAS, to ensure the pursuance of the foregoing program, there is a need for the formal forging of a Memorandum of Agreement by and among the City Government of Pagadian, the Department of Health and Dr. Tangkusan is necessary, where the duties and responsibilities of the concerned parties have been specified--such that the Honorable City Mayor has sought for authority to enter into the same, which request merited the support and concurrence of this august body; NOW, THEREFORE, on seconded motion of Honorable Priscilla M. Fernandez, be it RESOLVED to authorize, as this body hereby authorizes the Honorable City Mayor to enter for and in behalf of the City Government of Pagadian into a Memorandum of Agreement with the Department of Health (DOH) Regional Office 9, and Dr. Farr Krizha I. Tangkusan, for the implementation of the Doctors to the Barrios Program in the City of Pagadian. RESOLVED, FURTHER, to let copies of this Resolution be forwarded to His Honor, City Mayor Samuel S. Co, for information and favorable action; to the City Legal Officer; to the Department of Health through Dr. Joshua G. Brillantes, OIC-Director, Zamboanga Peninsula-Center for Health Development; and Dr. Farr Krizha I.
