RESOLUTION NO. 2022-1454 (Sponsor: Committee on Police, Fire and Public Safety) "A RESOLUTION APPROVING ON SECOND READING, DRAFT ORDINANCE NO. 096, ENTITLED: "AN ORDINANCE PROHIBITING THE OPERATION OF UNMANNED AERIAL VEHICLE (UAV) OR REMOTELY PILOTED AIRCRAFT SYSTEM (RPAS) OR DRONE WITHIN THE ONE HUNDRED (100) METER RADIUS OF ANY JAIL OR PENAL INSTITUTION AS WELL AS ALL GOVERNMENT INSTALLATIONS AND FACILITIES WITHIN THE TERRITORIAL JURISDICTION OF PAGADIAN CITY, PROVIDING PENALTIES FOR VIOLATION THEREOF; AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES" AND FOR ITS FURTHER CONSIDERATION ON THIRD READING" WHEREAS, this body, after thorough consideration of the substance and merits of Draft Ordinance No. 096 on Second Reading, finds the measure very relevant and most applicable under the present circumstances; WHEREAS, following the introduction of some necessary amendments proposed by the Committee on Police, Fire & Public Safety in its earlier report which facilitated its consideration on Second Reading, the body deems the draft sufficient so as to warrant its treatment on Third Reading; NOW, THEREFORE, on seconded motion of Honorable Vincenzo E. Cagampang, be it RESOLVED to approve, as this body hereby approves on Second Reading, Draft Ordinance No. 096, entitled: "An Ordinance Prohibiting The Operation Of Unmanned Aerial Vehicle (UAV) Or Remotely Piloted Aircraft System (RPAS) Or Drone Within The One Hundred (100) Meter Radius Of Any Jail Or Penal Institution As Well As All Government Installations And Facilities Within The Territorial Jurisdiction Of Pagadian City, Providing Penalties For Violation Thereof; And For Other Purposes", and for its further consideration on Third Reading.
