RESOLUTION NO. 2022-0139 (Sponsor: Committee on Planning and Landed Estates) "A RESOLUTION REMANDING, WITHOUT ACTION, TO THE HONORABLE CITY MAYOR HIS REQUEST FOR AUTHORITY TO EXECUTE A DEED OF DONATION IN FAVOR OF THE PHILIPPINE RED CROSS, REGIONAL OFFICE 9, INVOLVING LOT NO. 2, BLOCK 1B OF THE PRC-MCO SUBDIVISION PLAN, WITH AN AREA OF TWO THOUSAND SEVENTY (2,070) SQUARE METERS, SITUATED AT THE PRESIDENT CORAZON C. AQUINO REGIONAL CENTER, BARANGAY BALINTAWAK, THIS CITY" WHEREAS, consistent with the City Government's intention to finally effect the transfer of all regional offices of the different national government departments and agencies, the Honorable City Mayor, by way of a letter, sought for an authority to donate Lot No. 2, Block 1B, containing an area of 2,070 square meters, situated at the President Corazon C. Aquino Regional Center site, Barangay Balintawak, this city, in favor of the Philippine Red Cross, for use as site of its regional office; WHEREAS, this body, in consideration of the information provided by the Committee on Planning and Landed Estates-to which matter was initially referred-that the Regional Government Center in Barangay Balintawak is specifically intended for regional offices of the different national government departments and agencies while the Philippine Red Cross is a non-government organization, finds it in order to remand the letter-request for review and evaluation; NOW, THEREFORE, on seconded motion of Honorable Monique Shaira Y. To, be it RESOLVED to remand, as this body hereby remands, without action, to the Honorable City Mayor his request for authority to execute a Deed of Donation in favor of the Philippine Red Cross, Regional Office 9, involving Lot No. 2, Block 1B of the PRC-MCO Subdivision Plan, with an area of Two Thousand Seventy (2,070) square meters, situated at the President Corazon C. Aquino Regional Center, Barangay Balintawak, this city. RESOLVED FURTHER, that a copy of this Resolution be forwarded to His Honor, City Mayor Samuel S.
