RESOLUTION NO. 2022-0136 (Co-Sponsors: Committee on Planning and Landed Estates and Committee on Laws, Rules and Policy Formulation) "A RESOLUTION RECALLING RESOLUTION NO. 2021-1374, DATED NOVEMBER 24, 2021 AND, THEREBY, RENDERING THE SAME INVALID AND INEFFECTIVE" WHEREAS, the Sangguniang Panlungsod (13th City Council), during its 107 Regular Session held on 24 November 2021, adopted Resolution No. 2021-1374, entitled: "A Resolution Authorizing the Honorable City Mayor to sign, for and in behalf of the City Government of Pagadian, the Deed of Donation in favor of the Commission on Higher Education (CHED), with reference to the City Government-Owned parcel of land known as Lot No. 3, Block 5, containing an area of One Thousand Fifteen (1,015) Square Meters, situated at the President Corazon C. Aquino Regional Center in Barangay Balintawak, this city, for use as site of its Regional Office 9;" WHEREAS, after finding that the portion of the lot subject of the donation is not yet owned by the City Government, the Honorable City Mayor sought for the recall of the said resolution to pave the way for the execution of a new Deed of Donation, which request merited the support and concurrence of this august body; NOW, THEREFORE, on seconded motion of Honorable Monique Shaira Y. To, be it RESOLVED to recall, as this body hereby recalls Resolution No. 2021-1374, dated November 24, 2021 and, thereby, rendering the same invalid and ineffective. RESOLVED FURTHER, that copies of this Resolution be forwarded to His Honor, City Mayor Samuel S. Co, for his reference and appropriate action; the City Legal Officer; to Regional Director, Dr. Rody P. Garcia, CHED-Region 9, Sanson St. corner Sabellano St., San Francisco District, this city; and all other offices concerned, for their information, guidance and/or appropriate action.
