RESOLUTION NO. 2022-0103 (Sponsor: Committee on Health and Social Services) "A RESOLUTION GRANTING AUTHORITY TO HONORABLE CITY MAYOR SAMUEL S. CO TO ENTER, FOR AND IN BEHALF OF THE CITY GOVERNMENT OF PAGADIAN, INTO A MEMORANDUM OF AGREEMENT WITH THE IRASETH PHARMA, INCORPORATED, IN RELATION TO THE CONDUCT OF A MONTHLY CHECK UP FOR ALL MEDICAL EQUIPMENT/MACHINES AT THE PAGADIAN CITY INFIRMARY" WHEREAS, consistent with the standards set by the Department of Health, the IRASETH PHARMA, Incorporated offered to provide Preventive Maintenance Service to all medical equipment/machines positioned or stationed at the Pagadian City Infirmary situated at Barangay Danlugan, this city--which offer has been accepted by the City Government of Pagadian; WHEREAS, to ensure the early and successful pursuance of the foregoing endeavor, the formal forging of a Memorandum of Agreement by and between the City Government of Pagadian and the IRASETH PHARMA, Incorporated is necessary where the duties and responsibilities of both parties have been specified, such that a request for legislative authority to enter into such deed has been sought by the Honorable City Mayor; WHEREAS, this body, in consideration of the recommendation of the concerned Committee, to which the foregoing matter was initially referred for study, deems it appropriate and necessary for the best interest of public service that the City Chief Executive be clothed with authority to represent the City Government in formalizing the Agreement; NOW, THEREFORE, on seconded motion of Honorable Ariel J. Lim, Jr., be it RESOLVED to grant, as this body hereby grants authority to Honorable City Mayor Samuel S. Co to enter, for and in behalf of the City Government of Pagadian, into a Memorandum of Agreement with the IRASETH PHARMA, Incorporated, in relation to the conduct of a monthly check up for all medical equipment/machines at the Pagadian City Infirmary. RESOLVED FURTHER, to let copies of this Resolution be forwarded to His Honor, City Mayor Samuel S. Co, for immediate favorable consideration; to the City Legal Officer; to Dr. Arnel L. Lerias,M.D., OIC-Chief of Hospital, Pagadian City Infirmary, both of this city; and to Mr. Carl Allan Tolosa, Operations Manager-IRASETH PHARMA, Incorporated, Block 1, Lot 23, Golden Village Subdivision, Carmen, Cagayan De Oro City, for their information, guidance and/or appropriate action.
