RESOLUTION NO. 2022-0085 (Sponsor: Honorable Jesus B. Bajamunde, Jr.) "A RESOLUTION GRANTING AUTHORITY TO THE HONORABLE CITY MAYOR TO INCREASE THE MONTHLY ALLOWANCE OF THE CITY PROSECUTORS FROM TWO THOUSAND (P2,000.00) PESOS TO FIVE THOUSAND (P5,000.00) PESOS" WHEREAS, the City Government has been granting additional monetary incentives to national government officials assigned and actually rendering services to the city, including prosecutors who are assigned in the city, pursuant to the provision of the Local Government Code, particularly sub-paragraph (xi) of Paragraph (1), Article 99 of its Implementing Rules and Regulations; WHEREAS, currently, the City Prosecutors has been receiving monthly allowance of Two Thousand (P2,000.00) Pesos since December 2019 and, in view of the rapid escalation of prices due to high inflation, made an appeal, by way of a letter addressed to the Honorable City Mayor, to increase the monthly allowance to P5,000.00, which request was forwarded to this august body for appropriate consideration; WHEREAS, after careful perusal and evaluation, this body, finding urgency and importance of the foregoing request, deems it reasonable and justifiable, hence, this authority; NOW, THEREFORE, on seconded motion of Honorable Jesus B. Bajamunde, Jr., be it RESOLVED to grant, as this body hereby grants authority to the Honorable City Mayor to increase the monthly allowance of the City Prosecutors from Two Thousand (P2,000.00) pesos to Five Thousand (P5,000.00) pesos. RESOLVED FURTHER, to let copies of this Resolution be furnished His Honor, City Mayor Samuel S. Co, for his preferential consideration and favorable action; the City Budget Officer; the City Accountant; the City Treasurer; and to Atty. Domingo Santiago M.
