RESOLUTION NO. 2022-0078 (Sponsor: Honorable Ronald Christopher Glenn L. Ariosa) "A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE HONORABLE CITY MAYOR TO SIGN THE MEMORANDUM OF AGREEMENT TO BE ENTERED INTO BY AND BETWEEN THE CITY GOVERNMENT OF PAGADIAN AND THE FIFTY-FOUR (54) BARANGAY GOVERNMENT UNITS OF THE CITY, DULY REPRESENTED BY THEIR RESPECTIVE PUNONG BARANGAYS, IN RELATION TO THE IMPELEMENTATION OF THE CITY GOVERNMENT'S OFFER TO LOAN TO EACH AND EVERY BARANGAY GOVERNMENT UNIT, A MOTOR VEHICLE FOR OFFICIAL USE" WHEREAS, consistent with its thrust and mandate and, in line with this present administration intention to provide and extend all necessary support and assistance to the different barangays of the city, the City Government of Pagadian will be providing a motor vehicle, by way of a loan, to each and every barangay of the city for its official use; WHEREAS, in order to ensure the early and successful pursuance of such endeavor, the formal forging of a Memorandum of Agreement by and between the City Government and the concerned Barangay Government Unit is necessary where the duties and responsibilities of the concerned parties have been stipulated, such that a legislative authority to enter into such deed has been sought by the Honorable City Mayor--which request, upon careful perusal and evaluation by this august body, has been found imperatively necessary, hence, this authority; NOW, THEREFORE, on seconded motion of Honorable Ronald Christopher Glenn L. Ariosa, be it RESOLVED to authorize, as this body hereby authorizes the Honorable City Mayor to sign the Memorandum of Agreement to be entered into by and between the City Government of Pagadian and the Fifty-Four (54) Barangay Government Units of city, duly represented by their respective Punong Barangays, in relation to the implementation of the City Government's offer to loan to each and every Barangay Government Unit, a motor vehicle for official use. RESOLVED FURTHER, to let copies of this Resolution be forwarded to His Honor, City Mayor Samuel S. Co, for his immediate favorable consideration; to the City Legal Officer; and to the 54 Barangay Government Units through their respective Punong Barangays, for their information, guidance and/or appropriate action.
