RESOLUTION NO. 2022-0073 (Sponsor: Committee on Education, Science & Technology and Accreditation of NGOs & POs) "A RESOLUTION ACCREDITING AND RECOGNIZING THE PAGADIAN ZAMBOANGA DEL SUR CHAMBER OF COMMERCE AND INDUSTRY FOUNDATION, INC. AS A NON-GOVERNMENT ORGANIZATION (NGO) IN THE CITY OF PAGADIAN" WHEREAS the Pagadian Zamboanga del Sur Chamber of Commerce and Industry Foundation, Inc., a duly structured and existing private service organization, tendered its application for accreditation with the City Government of Pagadian pursuant to the provisions of Republic Act No. 7160, otherwise known as "The Local Government Code Of 1991"; WHEREAS, the Committee on Education, Science, Technology and Accreditation of Pos and NGOs, to which the application was referred for initial consideration, has favorably recommended the body's approval thereof after finding that the organization has met the eligibility requirements under existing laws and ordinances which recommendation is supported by this body; NOW, THEREFORE, on seconded motion of Honorable Monique Shaira Y. To, be it RESOLVED to accredit and recognize, as this body hereby accredits and recognizes the Pagadian Zamboanga del Sur Chamber of Commerce and Industry Foundation, Inc. as a Non-Government Organization (NGO) in the City of Pagadian. RESOLVED, FURTHER, to let copies of this Resolution be forwarded to the Honorable City Mayor; to the DILG through the City Local Government Operations Officer, Mr. Farouk M. Escobar; and to the Pagadian Zamboanga del Sur Chamber of Commerce and Industry Foundation Inc., through its President, Ms. Hazel J. Lu, for information, guidance and reference. APPROVED UNANIMOUSLY.
