RESOLUTION NO. 2022-0039 (Sponsored by: Committee on Health and Social Services) "A RESOLUTION ESTABLISHING AND OPERATING THE GENERAL CLINICAL LABORATORY AT THE PAGADIAN CITY INFIRMARY, SITUATED AT BARANGAY DANLUGAN, THIS CITY, WHICH SHALL HEREINAFTER BE NAMED AS THE "PAGADIAN CITY INFIRMARY CLINICAL LABORATORY" AND THEREBY, IN EFFECT, AMENDING RESOLUTION NO. 2021-1199" WHEREAS, the Sangguniang Panlungsod (13th City Council), during its 90th regular session held on 14 July 2021, enacted Resolution No. 2021-1199, entitled: "A resolution establishing the General Clinical Laboratory at the Pagadian City Infirmary, situated at Barangay Danlugan, this city, which shall hereinafter be named as the "PCI Clinical Laboratory;" WHEREAS, just recently, Dr. Arnel L. Lerias, M.D., OIC-Chief of Hospital, Pagadian City Infirmary, by way of a letter, sought for the amendment of the title of the above-mentioned resolution from "PCI Clinical Laboratory" to "Pagadian City Infirmary Clinical Laboratory," in lieu of the City Government's application for accreditation with the DOH as well as to avert any problems that may arise in the future; WHEREAS, this body, following the favorable recommendation of the concerned Committee to which the foregoing matter was referred, deems it appropriate to amend the said aforementioned resolution, hence, this passage; NOW, THEREFORE, on seconded motion of Honorable Ariel J. Lim, Jr., be it RESOLVED to establish and operate, as this body hereby establishes and operates the General Clinical Laboratory at the Pagadian City Infirmary, situated at Barangay Danlugan, this city, which shall hereinafter be named as the "Pagadian City Infirmary Clinical Laboratory," and thereby, in effect, amending Resolution No. 2021-1199. RESOLVED FURTHER, to let copies of this resolution be forwarded to His Honor, City Mayor Samuel S. Co, for his information; and to Dr. Arnel L. Lerias, M.D., OIC-Chief of Hospital, Pagadian City Infirmary, for information, guidance and/or appropriate action. APPROVED UNANIMOUSLY.
