RESOLUTION NO. 2022-0030 (Sponsor: Honorable Jesuseller M. Duterte) "A RESOLUTION REQUESTING THE HONORABLE CITY MAYOR TO DIRECT THE CHIEF OF POLICE, PAGADIAN CITY POLICE STATION, TO CONDUCT THOROUGH INVESTIGATION ON THE PURPORTED ATTEMPTED KIDNAPPING INCIDENT INVOLVING TWO (2) STUDENTS IN THE CITY WHERE THE UNIDENTIFIED PERPETRATOR IS ALLEGEDLY USING A BLACK HI-ACE VEHICLE AS WELL AS THE REPORTED INCIDENT OF ALLEGED MOLESTATION OF FEMALE STUDENTS BY STILL UNIDENTIFIED DRIVERS OF MOTORIZED TRICYCLE-FOR-HIRE" WHEREAS, this august body expressed concern and alarm over the information of purported attempted kidnapping incident in the city involving two (2) students in the city where the perpetrators are allegedly using a black Hi-Ace vehicle as well as the reported incident of alleged molestation of female students by still unidentified drivers of motorized tricycle-for-hire; WHEREAS, given the seriousness of the foregoing matter and, in an effort to determine the veracity of such information, it is thus necessary to request the Pagadian City Police Station through the Chief of Police to conduct an in-depth investigation on both incidents as a preemptive measure to ensure the safety and security of all residents of the city, hence, this request; NOW, THEREFORE, on seconded motion of Honorable Jesuseller M. Duterte, be it RESOLVED to request, as this body hereby requests the Honorable City Mayor to direct the Chief of Police, Pagadian City Police Station, to conduct thorough investigation on the purported attempted kidnapping incident involving two (2) students in the city where the unidentified perpetrators are allegedly using a black Hi-Ace vehicle as well as the reported incident of alleged molestation of female students by still unidentified drivers of motorized tricycle-for-hire. RESOLVED FURTHER, to let copies of this Resolution be forwarded to His Honor, City Mayor Samuel S. Co, for his immediate favorable consideration; and to PLTCOL Khisna B.
