To) "A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE HONORABLE CITY MAYOR TO SIGN, FOR AND IN BEHALF OF THE CITY GOVERNMENT OF PAGADIAN, THE DEED OF DONATION IN FAVOR OF THE NATIONAL INTELLIGENCE COORDINATING AGENCY (NICA), REGIONAL OFFICE 9, WITH REFERENCE TO THE CITY GOVERNMENT-OWNED PARCEL OF LAND KNOWN AS LOT NO. 3, BLOCK 14, CONTAINING AN AREA OF ONE THOUSAND NINE HUNDRED SEVENTY-THREE (1,973) SQUARE METERS, SITUATED AT THE PRESIDENT CORAZON C. AQUINO REGIONAL GOVERNMENT CENTER IN BARANGAY BALINTAWAK, THIS CITY, FOR USE AS SITE OF ITS REGIONAL OFFICE" WHEREAS, the Sangguniang Panlungsod adopted Resolution No. 2009-0691, which, in gist, approved the grant by way of Deeds of Donation in the allocation and distribution of the areas within the President Corazon C. Aquino Regional Center site situated at Barangay Balintawak, this City, to the transferring regional offices of the different national government departments and agencies; WHEREAS, the City Government has identified and defined Lot No. 3, Block 14, thereat as site for the National Intelligence Coordinating Agency (NICA) Regional Office after considering its space requirements; WHEREAS, a Deed of Donation for the purpose was endorsed to this body by the Honorable City Mayor with a request for authority to correspondingly sign the document formalizing the allocation of the area which document, upon review, is deemed in order; NOW, THEREFORE, on motion of Honorable Monique Shaira Y. To, duly seconded en masse, be it RESOLVED to authorize, as this body hereby authorizes the Honorable City Mayor to sign, for and in behalf of the City Government of Pagadian, the Deed of Donation in favor of the National Intelligence Coordinating Agency (NICA) Regional Office 9, with reference to the City Government-owned parcel of land known as Lot No. 3, Block 14, containing an area of One Thousand Nine Hundred Seventy-Three (1,973) square meters, situated at the President Corazon C. Aquino Regional Government Center in Barangay Balintawak, this city, for use as site of its Regional Office. RESOLVED FURTHER, that copies of this Resolution be forwarded to His Honor, City Mayor Samuel S. Co, for his reference and appropriate action; the City Legal Officer; to Regional Director Camilo F. Balutan, National Intelligence Coordinating Agency (NICA)-Regional Office 9, Upper Calarian, Zamboanga City; and all other offices concerned, for their information, guidance and/or appropriate action.
