RESOLUTION NO. 2022-0004 (Sponsor: Honorable Priscilla M. Fernandez) "A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING HONORABLE CITY MAYOR SAMUEL S. CO TO ENTER, FOR AND IN BEHALF OF THE CITY GOVERNMENT OF PAGADIAN, INTO A MEMORANDUM OF AGREEMENT WITH THE PHILIPPINE STATISTICS AUTHORITY (PSA) AND THE DEPARTMENT OF THE INTERIOR AND LOCAL GOVERNMENT, FOR THE IMPLEMENTATION OF THE COMMUNITY-BASED MONITORING SYSTEM (CBMS) IN THE CITY OF PAGADIAN" WHEREAS, consistent with the thrust and mandate of RA 11315, known as the "Community-Based Monitoring System Act", the City Government of Pagadian, the Philippine Statistics Authority and the Department of the Interior and Local Government have once again agreed to jointly implement the Community-Based Monitoring System in the city; WHEREAS, the implementation of such program covers the organization of a technology-based system of collecting, processing and validating necessary disaggregated data that may be used for planning, program implementation, and impact monitoring at the local level while empowering communities to participate in the process; WHEREAS, to hasten the pursuance of the foregoing endeavor, the forging of a Memorandum of Agreement by and among the City Government of Pagadian, the Philippine Statistics Authority and the Department of the Interior and Local Government is necessary, such that the Honorable City Mayor requested he be accorded the necessary authority to enter into such deed which request merited the concurrence and support of this body; NOW, THEREFORE, on seconded motion of Honorable Priscilla M. Fernandez, be it RESOLVED to authorize, as this body authorizes Honorable City Mayor Samuel S. Co to enter, for and in behalf of the City Government of Pagadian, into a Memorandum of Agreement with the Philippine Statistics Authority (PSA) and the Department of the Interior and Local Government for the implementation of the Community-Based Monitoring System (CBMS) in the City of Pagadian; RESOLVED, FURTHER, that copies of this Resolution be forwarded to His Honor, City Mayor Samuel S. Co, for his appropriate action; to Regional Director Mewchun WS. Pamaran, Philippine Statistics Authority Regional Office IX, Zamboanga City; and Regional Director Paisal O. Abutazil, CESO III, Department of the Interior and Local Government, Regional Office IX, President Corazon C.
