RESOLUTION NO. 2021-1357 (Sponsored by: Honorable Fernando Y. Pameron) "A RESOLUTION REQUESTING THE HONORABLE CITY MAYOR TO FAVORABLY CONSIDER THE ASSIGNMENT AND/OR DETAIL OF AT LEAST ONE (1) CITY GOVERNMENT PERSONNEL TO THE PAROLE PROBATION ADMINISTRATION- DEPARTMENT OF JUSTICE (PPA-DOJ) TO COMPLEMENT AND AUGMENT THE SERVICES OF THE OFFICE WITH REFERENCE TO THE APPLICATION FOR PAROLE OR PROBATION OF THE PERSONS DEPRIVED OF LIBERTY (PDL) IN THE PAGADIAN CITY JAIL" WHEREAS, due to the lack of personnel who will attend to the various requirement/requisites of several Persons Deprived of Liberty (PDL) at the Pagadian City Jail, situated at Barangay Lenienza, this city, the Parole and Probation Administration-Department of Justice (PPA-DOJ), Regional Office 9, has sought assistance from the Sangguniang Panlungsod for the assignment and/or detail of at least one (1) personnel purposely to complement and augment the services offered by their office; WHEREAS, the body, after careful perusal and evaluation and, finding importance and urgency of the foregoing request, deems it most appropriate and in order to request the Honorable City Mayor to favorably assign and/or detail at least one (1) city government employee to undertake the required work; NOW, THEREFORE, on seconded motion by Honorable Fernando Y. Pameron, be it RESOLVED to request, as this body hereby requests the Honorable City Mayor to favorably consider the assignment and/or detail of at least one (1) City Government personnel to the Parole Probation Administration-Department of Justice (PPA-DOJ) to complement and augment the services of the office with reference to the application for parole or probation of the Persons Deprived of Liberty (PDL) in the Pagadian City Jail. RESOLVED, FURTHER, to let copies of this Resolution be furnished His Honor, City Mayor Samuel S. Co, for his preferential consideration and favorable action; and the Parole and Probation Administration-Department of Justice, through OIC-Regional Director, ARD Ruth C. Perucho, 2nd Floor, Diaz Building, F.S. Pajares Avenue, San Jose District, this city, for its information and follow-up. APPROVED UNANIMOUSLY.
