Pameron) "A RESOLUTION APPROVING AND STRONGLY ENDORSING TO THE DEPARTMENT OF HUMAN SETTLEMENT AND URBAN DEVELOPMENT (DHSUD) THE PROPOSED INSTALLATION AND PROVISION OF SOLAR POWERED-PERIMETER AND STREET LIGHTING PROJECT OF THE CITY GOVERNMENT OF PAGADIAN IN THE TOTAL AMOUNT OF TWO MILLION (P2,000,000.00) PESOS, FOR FUNDING ASSISTANCE UNDER THE COMPONENT 2 RESETTLEMENT GOVERNANCE ASSISTANCE PROGRAM" WHEREAS, the City Government of Pagadian, in line with its thrust and commitment to ensure the safety and security of the residents-beneficiaries at the city resettlement projects, has considered as local priority development project the installation and provision of Solar-Powered Perimeter and Street Lighting at the different resettlement sites of the city more specifically at the Old Nazareth (Phases I & II) Resettlement Site, the New Nazareth (Phases I, II, & III) Resettlement Site, Nazareno (Phases I & II) Resettlement Site, and the Hillside Resettlement Site; WHEREAS, to ensure the pursuance of the foregoing projects, the City Government of Pagadian, considering its limited financial resources, is seeking funding assistance in the amount of P2,000,000.00 from the Department of Human Settlements and Urban Development (DHSUD) through the Resettlement Governance Assistance Program Fund (RGAPF); WHEREAS, to hasten the approval and release of the requested funding and ensure the early and successful implementation of the foregoing projects, the favorable endorsement from this august body is necessary as a matter of requirement; NOW, THEREFORE, on seconded motion of Honorable Fernando Y. Pameron, be it RESOLVED, as it is hereby resolved to approve and strongly endorse to the Department of Human Settlement and Urban Development (DHSUD) the proposed installation and provision of Solar Powered-Perimeter and Street Lighting project of the City Government of Pagadian in the total amount of Two Million (P2,000,000.00) Pesos, for funding assistance under the Component 2 of Resettlement Governance Assistance Program. RESOLVED FURTHER, to let copies of this Resolution be forwarded to the Department of Human Settlement and Urban Development (DHSUD) through its Regional Office IX, for favorable consideration; to Honorable City Mayor Samuel S. Co; to the City Legal Officer; to the City Accountant; to the City Budget Officer; and the City Treasurer, for information, support and follow-up. APPROVED UNANIMOUSLY.
