RESOLUTION NO. 2021-1336

 "A RESOLUTION REQUESTING THE HONORABLE CITY MAYOR TO DIRECT THE PAGADIAN EMERGENCY OPERATION CENTER TO NEGOTIATE WITH THE DIFFERENT HOSPITALS IN THE CITY TO IMMEDIATELY RESPOND AND ATTEND TO ANY CASE OF ADVERSE EFFECTS/REACTIONS THAT MIGHT ARISE OR DEVELOP DURING THE CONDUCT OF VACCINATION AGAINST COVID-19 FOR MINORS AGED 2012-17 YEARS OLD IN THE CITY OF PAGADIAN"

WHEREAS, information disclosed that the City Government of Pagadian will commence the vaccination of children aged 2012-17 years old and with comorbidities on November 15, 2021;
WHEREAS, as a preemptive measure in preparation of any untoward incidents or adverse reactions of the vaccines that might arise during the conduct of vaccination, the availability of every hospital in the city including all its medical professionals and staff to immediately respond and attend to such situation is most required, thus commissioning the Pagadian City Emergency Operation Center to make the necessary representation with all the hospitals in the city for the purpose is appropriate and in order; 
NOW, THEREFORE, on seconded motion by Honorable Troy B. Asugas, be it 
RESOLVED to request, as this body hereby requests the Honorable City Mayor to direct the Pagadian Emergency Operation Center to negotiate with the different hospitals in the city to immediately respond and attend to any case of adverse effects/reactions that might arise or develop during the conduct of vaccination against COVID-19 for minors aged 2012-17 years old in the City of Pagadian. 
RESOLVED, FURTHER, to let a copy of this Resolution be furnished the Honorable City Mayor, in his concurring capacity as Chairman of the Pagadian City Emergency Operation Center, for his information and favorable action; and to Ms. Audrey B. Cabato, Head-Pagadian City Emergency Operations Center, for information, guidance and/or appropriate action.
