RESOLUTION NO. 2021-1313 (Sponsor: Committee on Commerce, Trade and Industry, Economic Enterprise and Cooperatives) "A RESOLUTION REQUESTING THE HONORABLE CITY MAYOR TO MAKE THE NECESSARY REPRESENTATION WITH THE MARGOSATUBIG REGIONAL HOSPITAL (MRH) FOR A POSSIBLE OXYGEN SUPPLY ARRANGEMENT TO ENSURE ADEQUATE SUPPLY OF MEDICAL GRADE OXYGEN FOR USE OF BOTH PUBLIC AND PRIVATE HOSPITALS IN THE CITY OF PAGADIAN" WHEREAS, during the height of COVID-19 cases in the city, public and private hospitals in the city have experienced difficulties in the supply of medical grade oxygen which is very vital in the treatment for moderate, severe and critical cases of COVID-19 patients--which predicament has caused this body to be concerned and alarmed; WHEREAS, this body, following the favorable recommendation of the Committee on Commerce, Trade and Industry, Economic Enterprise and Cooperatives-to which the foregoing concern was initially referred-deems it prim and proper for the City Government to institute and/or undertake appropriate measures to ensure the continued supply of medical oxygen for use in the different hospitals of the city, hence, requesting the Honorable City Mayor to make the necessary representation with the Margosatubig Regional Hospital on a possible oxygen supply arrangement is most imperative; NOW, THEREFORE, on seconded motion of Honorable Fernando Y. Pameron, be it RESOLVED to request, as this body hereby requests the Honorable City Mayor to make the necessary representation with the Margosatubig Regional Hospital (MRH) for a possible oxygen supply arrangement to ensure adequate supply of medical grade oxygen for use of both public and private hospitals in the City of Pagadian. RESOLVED FURTHER, to let a copy of this Resolution be furnished His Honor, City Mayor Samuel S. Co, for his preferential consideration and favorable action. APPROVED UNANIMOUSLY.
