RESOLUTION NO. 2021-1289 (Sponsor: Honorable Fernando Y. Pameron) "A RESOLUTION REQUESTING THE HONORABLE CITY MAYOR TO DIRECT THE CITY PLANNING AND DEVELOPMENT COORDINATOR TO FAST-TRACK THE FORMULATION OF THE IMPLEMENTING RULES AND REGULATIONS GOVERNING THE PAGADIAN CITY INVESTMENT INCENTIVES CODE AS WELL AS THE PRESENTATION OF THE UPDATED CITY LAND USE PLAN (CLUP)" WHEREAS, the City Government of Pagadian had approved the passage of City Ordinance No. 2019-423 otherwise known as the "Updated Pagadian City Investments, Incentives and Promotion Code of 2019," to further attract investors and enhance the investment climate, stimulate local economic growth and development, promote productivity, and generate employment for the locality; WHEREAS, to allow investors to avail of the incentives provided, there is a need to fast track the necessary requirements/documents and the formulation of the Implementing Rules and Regulations of the aforementioned, and this is to include as well the presentation of the updated City Land Use Plan (CLUP) by the City Planning and Development Coordinator; NOW, THEREFORE, on seconded motion of Honorable Fernando Y. Pameron, be it RESOLVED to request, as this body hereby requests the Honorable City Mayor to direct the City Planning and Development Coordinator to fast-track the formulation of the Implementing Rules and Regulations governing the Pagadian City Investment Incentives Code as well as the presentation of the updated City Land Use Plan (CLUP). RESOLVED, FURTHER, to let copies of this Resolution be forwarded to His Honor, City Mayor Samuel S. Co, for his appropriate action; to the City Planning and Development Coordinator, Engr.
