A RESOLUTION ADOPTING THE NEW INNOVATION FOR THE PAYMENT OF REAL PROPERTY TAX, BUSINESS TAX, PERMITS AND/OR LICENSES IN THE CITY OF PAGADIAN AND, AUTHORIZING THE CITY TREASURER, FOR THE PURPOSE, TO ACCEPT AND ACKNOWLEDGE THE ISSUANCE OF AN OFFICIAL RECEIPT THROUGH AUTOMATION THAT WILL BE DIRECTLY DOWNLOADED TO THE CITY GOVERNMENT'S ELECTRONIC SYSTEM SUBJECT, HOWEVER, TO THE APPROVAL OF THE BUREAU OF INTERNAL REVENUE (BIR) AND THE COMMISSION ON AUDIT (COA)

"A RESOLUTION ADOPTING THE NEW INNOVATION FOR THE PAYMENT OF REAL PROPERTY TAX, BUSINESS TAX, PERMITS AND/OR LICENSES IN THE CITY OF PAGADIAN AND, AUTHORIZING THE CITY TREASURER, FOR THE PURPOSE, TO ACCEPT AND ACKNOWLEDGE THE ISSUANCE OF AN OFFICIAL RECEIPT THROUGH AUTOMATION THAT WILL BE DIRECTLY DOWNLOADED TO THE CITY GOVERNMENT'S ELECTRONIC SYSTEM SUBJECT, HOWEVER, TO THE APPROVAL OF THE BUREAU OF INTERNAL REVENUE (BIR) AND THE COMMISSION ON AUDIT (COA)"

WHEREAS, in line with the mandate under Section 11 (c) of Republic Act 11032 known as the "Ease of Doing Business and Efficient Government Service Delivery Act of 2018, the Local Government Unit of Pagadian City is now on the process of setting up an Electronic Business One Stop Shop (e-BOSS) through the full implementation of the city's computerization program;
WHEREAS, to effectively and efficiently pursue the foregoing program, there is a need to upgrade the city's collection services by allowing the issuance of an automated official receipt which will be downloaded directly to an electronic system and printed through a special handy device which process will help ensure prompt and accurate posting of data direct to the main system of the City Treasurer's financial records; 
WHEREAS, for this purpose, this body, finding no legal impediment thereto, finds it imperatively necessary to adopt this new innovation subject, however, to the approval of the Bureau of Internal Revenue (BIR) and the Commission on Audit (COA); 
NOW, THEREFORE, on seconded motion of Honorable Fernando Y. Pameron, be it
RESOLVED to adopt, as this body hereby adopts the new innovation for the payment of real property tax, business tax, permits and/or licenses in the City of Pagadian and, authorizing the City Treasurer, for the purpose, to accept and acknowledge the issuance of an official receipt through automation that will be directly downloaded to the city government's electronic system subject, however, to the approval of the Bureau of Internal Revenue (BIR) and the Commission on Audit (COA).
RESOLVED FURTHER, to let copies of this Resolution be forwarded to Ms. Nona Grace E. Duran, City Treasurer, for information, guidance and/or appropriate action; to Honorable City Mayor Samuel S. Co; and all other offices concerned, for their information and guidance.
