RESOLUTION NO. 2021-1254 (By Acclamation) "A RESOLUTION STRONGLY CONDEMNING THE BRUTAL AND RUTHLESS KILLING OF HONORABLE RAYMUNDO P. ALBIAR, PUNONG BARANGAY OF TUBURAN, THIS CITY, AND CALLING ALL CONCERNED LAW ENFORCEMENT AGENCIES TO COLLABORATE AND INSTITUTE APPROPRIATE ACTION FOR THE IMMEDIATE RESOLUTION OF THE CASE" WHEREAS, per police report, on or about 6:20 in the morning of 25 August 2021, a shooting incident took place at Purok Nangka, Barangay Tuburan, this city, where a certain Raymundo P. Albiar, Punong Barangay of Tuburan, was treacherously shot to death by still unidentified armed men; WHEREAS, such dastardly and cowardly act of the perpetrators which senselessly took the life of an innocent and dedicated public servant is deplorable and reprehensible and by all means should be condemned in the highest terms and must be resolved as soon as possible in the interest of justice; NOW, THEREFORE, on unanimous motion of all Council Members present and duly seconded, it was RESOLVED to strongly condemn, as this body hereby strongly condemns the brutal killing of Honorable Raymundo P. Albiar, Punong Barangay of Tuburan, this City, and calling all concerned law enforcement agencies to collaborate and institute appropriate action for the immediate resolution of the case. RESOLVED FURTHER, to let copies of this Resolution be forwarded to the Provincial Director, Zamboanga del Sur Police Provincial Office; to the City of Police-Pagadian City Police Station; the Head-Criminal Investigation and Detection Group (CIDG), Zamboanga del Sur Police Provincial Office; and the Head-National Bureau of Investigation, Zamboanga del Sur District Office, all of this City, for their consideration and immediate appropriate action; and to the Honorable City Mayor, for information, support and follow-up.
