"A RESOLUTION STRONGLY SUPPORTING RESOLUTION NO. 3, S. 2021, OF THE PEACE AND ORDER COUNCIL OF PAGADIAN AND, THEREBY, EARNESTLY REQUESTING PGENERAL GUILLERMO LORENZO T. ELEAZAR, CHIEF-PHILIPPINE NATIONAL POLICE, TO FAVORABLY CONSIDER THE CREATION AND ORGANIZATION OF A TASK FORCE THAT SHALL BE PRIMARILY RESPONSIBLE IN ADDRESSING ALL FORMS OF CRIMINALITY IN THE CITY OF PAGADIAN"

WHEREAS, based on the reported rising cases of criminality in the city based on the crime index report from the Philippine National Police-Regional Office IX, the Peace and Order Council of Pagadian City, by virtue of its Resolution No. 3, series of 2021, enacted during its meeting held on 28 July 2021, requested PGen. Guillermo Lorenzo T. Eleazar, Chief-Philippine National Police, through the Office of the Sangguniang Panlungsod of Pagadian City, for the creation of Task Force Pagadian on Criminality and Security;

WHEREAS, while the City Government recognizes and acknowledges all the effort exerted by the officers and men of the Pagadian City Police Station in the fight against all forms of criminalities and in maintaining the peace and order situation of the city, however, it cannot be gainsaid that due to the lack of police personnel assigned in the Pagadian City Police Station has greatly affected the perceived output or outcome of the performance of their official duties and responsibilities; 

WHEREAS, in order to address the foregoing predicament, there is thus a need to create and organize a composite team with the following composition, namely: an organic member of the Philippine National Police (PNP), Armed Forces of the Philippines (AFP), and 902nd PNP Regional Mobile Group, who shall be known as Task Force Pagadian on Criminality and Security; 

WHEREAS, finding urgency and importance of such proposition, this body deems it imperatively necessary to request the Chief PNP to create and organize the Task Force Pagadian on Criminality and Security; 

NOW, THEREFORE, on seconded motion of Honorable Vincenzo E. Cagampang, be it
RESOLVED to strongly support, as this body hereby strongly supports Resolution No. 3, s. 2021, of the Peace and Order Council of Pagadian.
RESOLVED FURTHER, to earnestly request PGen. Guillermo Lorenzo T. Eleazar, Chief-Philippine National Police, to favorably consider the creation and organization of a Task Force that shall be primarily responsible in addressing all forms of criminality in the City of Pagadian.





RESOLVED, FINALLY, to let copies of this Resolution be forwarded to PGen. Guillermo Lorenzo T. Eleazar, Chief-Philippine National Police, PNP National Headquarters, 
Camp General Crame, Quezon City, for information and favorable consideration; and to the Peace and Order Council of Pagadian through Honorable City Mayor Samuel S. Co, in his concurring capacity as Chairman of the POCPC, for their information and follow-up.
