Ariosa) "A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE HONORABLE CITY MAYOR TO ENTER, FOR AND IN BEHALF OF THE CITY GOVERNMENT OF PAGADIAN, INTO A MEMORANDUM OF AGREEMENT WITH THE DEPARTMENT OF AGRICULTURE-REGIONAL FIELD OFFICE 9, FOR THE PROVISION OF FIFTEEN (15) UNITS LIQUID NITROGEN MOTHER TANK WHICH WILL BE USED FOR SEMEN STORAGE OF SMALL AND LARGE RUMINANTS FOR ARTIFICIAL INSEMINATION SERVICES TO FARMERS IN THE CITY OF PAGADIAN" WHEREAS, consistent with its mandate to improve the genetic make-up of small and large ruminants in the entire county, the Department of Agriculture-Regional Field Office 9 is providing Liquid Nitrogen Mother Tank for semen storage of small and large ruminants under the Unified National Artificial Insemination Program (UNAIP); WHEREAS, information has it that the City of Pagadian has been qualified and eligible to avail of fifteen (15) units of Liquid Nitrogen Mother Tank as assistance under the program; WHEREAS, to hasten the implementation of the foregoing program, the formal forging of a Memorandum of Agreement is necessary where the duties and responsibilities of the parties concerned have been specified, for which the Honorable City Mayor has sought for authority to enter into such agreement--which request merited the support and concurrence of this august body; NOW, THEREFORE, on seconded motion of Honorable Ronald Christopher Glenn L. Ariosa, be it RESOLVED to authorize, as this body hereby authorizes the Honorable City Mayor to enter, for and in behalf of the City Government of Pagadian, into a Memorandum of Agreement with the Department of Agriculture-Regional Field Office 9, for the provision of Fifteen (15) Units Liquid Nitrogen Mother Tank which will be used for semen storage of small and large ruminants for artificial insemination services to farmers in the City of Pagadian. RESOLVED FURTHER, that copies of this Resolution be forwarded to His Honor, City Mayor Samuel S. Co, for his information and favorable consideration; to the City Legal Officer; to the Department of Agriculture through Regional Executive Director Rad Donn L.
