Quicoy) "A RESOLUTION APPROVING THE DONATION OF EIGHT (8) UNITS SINGLE MOTORCYCLE, TWO (2) UNITS MOTORIZED TRICYCLE (BAO-BAO) AND TWO (2) UNITS MOTOR VEHICLE (PICK-UP) TO THE PHILIPPINE NATIONAL POLICE (PNP), DULY REPRESENTED BY PGEN GUILLERMO LORENZO T. ELEAZAR, AND AUTHORIZING HONORABLE CITY MAYOR SAMUEL S. CO TO SIGN THE DEED OF DONATION FOR THE PURPOSE AND TO BE WITNESSED BY THE MEMBERS OF THE SANGGUNIANG PANLUNGSOD (13TH CITY COUNCIL)" WHEREAS, the City Government of Pagadian, consistent with the thrust and mandate to ensure the safety and protection of the citizenry and maintain the peace and order situation of the city, finds it imperative to equip the Pagadian City Police Office with all the necessary logistical support to help in their police functions and operations; WHEREAS, in line thereto, the Honorable City Mayor, by way of a letter, expressed desire to donate Eight (8) Units Single Motorcycle, Two (2) Units Motorized Tricycle (Bao-Bao) and Two (2) Units Motor Vehicle (Pick-Up) for use of the Pagadian City Police Office, and forwarded a copy of a Deed of Donation to this august body with a request for authority to sign the same; WHEREAS, after careful perusal and evaluation, this Sanggunian, finding urgency and importance, deems it cogently necessary to clothe the City Chief Executive with the necessary authority to represent the City Government of Pagadian in the formal forging of the Deed of Donation; NOW, THEREFORE, on seconded motion of Honorable Teodoro M. Quicoy, be it RESOLVED to approve, as this body hereby approves to donate Eight (8) Units Single Motorcycle, Two (2) Units Motorized Tricycle (Bao-Bao) and Two (2) Units Motor Vehicle (Pick-Up) to the Philippine National Police, duly represented by PGen Guillermo Lorenzo T. Eleazar, and authorizing Honorable City Mayor Samuel S. Co to sign the Deed of Donation for the purpose and to be witnessed by the members of the Sangguniang Panlungsod (13th City Council). RESOLVED FURTHER, that copies of this Resolution be forwarded to His Honor, City Mayor Samuel S. Co, for his information and favorable consideration; to the City Legal Officer; to PGen Guillermo Lorenzo T. Eleazar, National Headquarters, Camp Crame, Quezon City; to the Chief of Police, Pagadian City Police Office, for their information, guidance and/or appropriate action. APPROVED UNANIMOUSLY.
