RESOLUTION NO. 2021-1215 (Sponsored by: Honorable Teodoro M. Quicoy) "A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING HONORABLE CITY MAYOR SAMUEL S. CO TO DONATE A CITY GOVERNMENT-OWNED PARCEL OF LAND MORE SPECIFICALLY IDENTIFIED AS LOT 223-A-1-A, WITH AN AREA OF THREE HUNDRED (300) SQUARE METERS, SITUATED AT BARANGAY DAO, THIS CITY, TO THE DEPARTMENT OF LABOR AND EMPLOYMENT (DOLE) FOR THE EXCLUSIVE USE AS SITE OF THE DOLE-PAGADIAN CITY FIELD OFFICE" WHEREAS, the Department of Labor and Employment, by way of a letter addressed to the Honorable City Mayor, signified intention to establish and construct the DOLE-Pagadian City Field Office and, for which a request to the City Government of Pagadian for the donation of a 300-square meter lot for the purpose has been sought; WHEREAS, finding the foregoing request advantageous and beneficial to the people of Pagadian City, the City Government identified Lot No. 223-A-1-A with an area of 300 square meters, situated at Barangay Dao, this City, for the construction and establishment of the DOLE-Pagadian City Field Office; WHEREAS, to formalize the allocation of the area to the requesting agency, the Honorable City Mayor endorsed a Deed of Donation with a request for authority to enter into the same, for which this body finds reasonable and necessary to accord the City Chief Executive the necessary authority to represent the City Government in the formal forging of such deed; NOW, THEREFORE, on seconded motion of Honorable Teodoro M. Quicoy, be it RESOLVED to authorize, as this body hereby authorizes Honorable City Mayor Samuel S. Co to donate a City Government-owned parcel of land more specifically identified as Lot 223-A-1-A, with an area of Three Hundred (300) square meters, situated at Barangay Dao, this City, to the Department of Labor and Employment (DOLE) for the exclusive use as site of the DOLE-Pagadian City Field Office. RESOLVED, FURTHER, to let copies of this Resolution be forwarded to His Honor, City Mayor Samuel S. Co, for his appropriate action; the City Legal Officer; the Department of Labor and Employment through Honorable Silvestre H. Bello III, Secretary - Department of Labor and Employment (DOLE), DOLE Executive Bldg., San Jose St., Intramuros, Manila; and all other offices concerned, for reference. APPROVED UNANIMOUSLY.
