RESOLUTION NO. 2021-1192 (Sponsored by: Honorable Teodoro M. Quicoy) "A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE HONORABLE CITY MAYOR TO EXECUTE AND SIGN, FOR AND IN BEHALF OF THE CITY GOVERNMENT OF PAGADIAN, THE DEED OF USUFRUCT IN FAVOR OF THE PHILIPPINE COAST GUARD (PCG), WITH REFERENCE TO THE EXCLUSIVE USE OF A CITY GOVERNMENT-OWNED PARCEL OF LAND KNOWN AS LOT NO. 5211-B, PSD-09-055949, CONTAINING AN AREA OF TEN THOUSAND FOUR HUNDRED THIRTY-SEVEN (10,437) SQUARE METERS, SITUATED AT THE PRESIDENT CORAZON C. AQUINO REGIONAL GOVERNMENT CENTER SITE, BARANGAY BALINTAWAK, THIS CITY" WHEREAS, the Philippine Coast Guard, by way of a letter, requested the City Government for the allocation of a suitable area at the President Corazon C. Aquino Regional Center site at Barangay Balintawak, this city, for the exclusive use as site of their training facility center; WHEREAS, considering the urgency and necessity of the foregoing request, and after determining the area requirement, the Honorable City Mayor has identified and delineated a parcel of land known as Lot No. 5211-B, Psd-09-055949, containing an area of 10,437 square meters and, for the purpose, a Deed of Usufruct to be entered into by and between the City Government and the Philippine Coast Guard is necessary wherein the conditions and other provisions were specified, such that a request for authority to enter into such agreement is being sought by the City Chief Executive; WHEREAS, premises considered, it is thus imperatively necessary to clothe the Honorable City Mayor with the necessary authority to represent the City Government in the formal forging of such deed; NOW, THEREFORE, on seconded motion of Honorable Teodoro M. Quicoy, be it RESOLVED to authorize, as this body hereby authorizes the Honorable City Mayor to execute and sign, for and in behalf of the City Government of Pagadian, the Deed of Usufruct in favor of the Philippine Coast Guard (PCG), with reference to the exclusive use of a City Government-owned parcel of land known as Lot No. 5211-B, Psd-09-055949, containing an area of Ten Thousand Four Hundred Thirty-Seven (10,437) square meters, situated at the President Corazon C. Aquino Regional Center site, Barangay Balintawak, this city. RESOLVED FURTHER, to let copies of this Resolution be forwarded to His Honor, City Mayor Samuel S. Co; the City Legal Officer; and the Philippine Coast Guard, through its Commandant, Admiral George V. Ursabia, Jr., National Headquarters, Philippine Coast Guard, Port Area, Manila, for their information, guidance and/or appropriate action. APPROVED UNANIMOUSLY.
