RESOLUTION NO. 2021-1140 (Sponsor: Honorable Sam Tyra F. Co) "A RESOLUTION GRATEFULLY ACKNOWLEDGING AND RECOGNIZING THE PHILIPPINE MEDICAL ASSOCIATION FOR THEIR SIGNIFICANT CONTRIBUTION AND ACTIVE INVOLVEMENT IN THE CITY GOVERNMENT'S FIGHT AGAINST THE CORONA VIRUS DISEASE 2019 (COVID-19)" WHEREAS, the City Government of Pagadian--while having been relentless, resolute and steadfast in its fight to contain the spread of the Corona Virus Disease 2019 (COVID-19) in the city which have wreaked fear, anxiety and death among the residents as well as brought damaged to the city's economy due to the closure of several businesses and the loss of employment and income to several workers--has sought all the necessary support and assistance from any individual or group of persons to help contain the further spread of such dreaded disease; WHEREAS, public perception has it that the significant contribution and active involvement of the Philippine Medical Association-Pagadian Chapter has greatly contributed in containing and addressing the rising cases of COVID-19 in the city; WHEREAS, such dedication and commitment shown by the Philippine Medical Association deserves all the accolade from the entire people of Pagadian and worthy of all the recognition and acknowledgement; NOW, THEREFORE, on seconded motion of Honorable Sam Tyra F. Co, be it RESOLVED, as it is hereby resolved to gratefully acknowledge and recognize the Philippine Medical Association for their significant contribution and active involvement in the City Government's fight against the Corona Virus Disease 2019 (COVID-19). RESOLVED FURTHER, that copies of this Resolution be forwarded to the Philippine Medical Association-Pagadian Chapter, through Dr. Gino Oliver M. Bancoro, this city, for information.
