Quicoy) "A RESOLUTION CONFIRMING THE DEED OF SALE ENTERED INTO BY AND BETWEEN THE CITY GOVERNMENT OF PAGADIAN REPRESENTED BY HONORABLE CITY MAYOR SAMUEL S. CO, AS VENDOR, AND THE ROBINSONS LAND CORPORATION, AS VENDEE, RELATIVE TO A CITY GOVERNMENT-OWNED REAL ESTATE PROPERTY KNOWN AS LOT NO. 2851-A, PSD-09-086600 COVERED BY TRANSFER CERTIFICATE OF TITLE NO. 131-2021000238, INVOLVING AN AREA OF TWENTY-FIVE THOUSAND TWO HUNDRED TWENTY-EIGHT (25,228) SQUARE METERS, LOCATED AT SAN FRANCISCO DISTRICT, THIS CITY" WHEREAS, this Sanggunian, during its 7th Regular Session held last 28 August 2019, passed and approved Resolution No. 2019-0100, which, in gist, grants authority to Honorable City Mayor Samuel S. Co to dispose, by way of sale, the City Government-Owned Real Estate Property identified as Lot No. 2851 under Original Certificate of Title No. 0-3,376, located at San Francisco District, this City, in supplement to Resolution No. 2019-0080 adopted by this body during its 6th Regular Session, which Contract of Sale, however, shall be subject to the confirmation of the Sangguniang Panlungsod; WHEREAS, in view thereof, the Honorable City Mayor, as Vendor, and the Robinsons Land Corporation, as Vendee, have come into agreement to execute a Deed of Absolute Sale involving a portion of the afore-cited City Government-owned property, which particular lot is now covered by Transfer Certificate of Title No. 131-2021000238, covering an area of Twenty-Five Thousand Two Hundred Twenty-Eight (25,228) square meters; WHEREAS, while the Deed of Absolute Sale had been duly signed by both parties and duly notarized by Atty. Ronald Agustin R. Estrada under Doc. No. 352, Page No. 71, Book No. 5, series of 2021, the confirmation of the above-cited sale is necessary--a legal document which only the Sangguniang Panlungsod could officially confer; WHEREAS, this body, after careful perusal and evaluation, finds it cogently necessary to confirm the foregoing Deed of Sale; NOW, THEREFORE, on seconded motion of Honorable Teodoro M. Quicoy, be it RESOLVED to confirm, as this body hereby confirms the Deed of Sale entered into by and between the City Government of Pagadian represented by Honorable City Mayor Samuel S. Co, as Vendor, and the Robinsons Land Corporation, as Vendee, relative to a City Government-owned real estate property known as Lot No. 2851-A, PSD-09-086600 covered by Transfer Certificate of Title No. 131-2021000238, involving an area of Twenty-Five Thousand Two Hundred Twenty-Eight (25,228) square meters, located at San Francisco District, this City. RESOLVED, FURTHER, to let copies of this Resolution be furnished His Honor, City Mayor Samuel S. Co; the City Legal Officer; and the Robinsons Land Corporation, through its President, Frederick D. Go, 43/F Robinsons Equitable Tower, ADB Avenue, Corner, Poveda Road, Ortigas Center, Pasig City, for information, guidance and reference. APPROVED UNANIMOUSLY.
